Hey Muruku, happy belated buddy Hope that you enjoyed your weekend.
Coming in after a 4-day weekend is pretty rough. Speaking of, I'd been applying for other jobs in the mean time and found one that mentioned they'd hire me any time I was available to work. I gave my boss 6 month's notice in January, and have planned to finish out the rest of this month. However, cash flow is tightening because I'm only working P/T now. That's partially because I was in school during the winter, and reduced my hours (but I was kind of expecting to get my old hours back for the summer) we did have a conversation about this and I understood that I wouldn't be getting F/T hours again (so I decided to make the most of it). I was making enough money to get by, but I didn't realize I'd been dipping into my savings in order to ensure that would happen. I didn't realize this until I noticed my account go into the red for the first time in 12 months. I was fortunate enough to manage to bring it back, but it looks like my current spend/save ratio is not pretty and this may happen again if I don't start making more cash.
I was able to hire and train somebody to replace me, as well as another employee to take over day to day tasks. So I don't think that'd be an issue.
So I'm probably going to have to sit down with the owner of the company and just explain that as much I'd love to finish out this final month, I really can't afford to be messing around with my finances at this time in my life. Plus, the job I was offered is about the same hours (with some weeks being 40+ hours and other weeks being 20~ hours) but 2.5x the cash. The only thing is, I'll be working weekends and it's not an office job. I can't argue with the numbers, though. It'll actually be enough money to start putting away to move out or just to afford to put myself through school without taking a loan (while still living at home).

I just got home from the gym, after sleeping less than 5 hours. On top of not getting much sleep over the weekend, drinking and eating. Someone please shoot me. I'll pay you to.
Aww, so cute that you and wifey still canoodle here and there. It makes me feel good that my sex life won't die after I get married one day.

Well, i heard Type is an expert on semen, pretty sure that's paleo...ask him?
if you've trained your replacement and your boss has you on P/T, they're just keeping you on the payroll so you can't claim unemployment when they fire you; politely let your boss know that you feel your replacement is doing a good job and you'd like to leave early. he can't do anything about it anyway if you resign.
6 months notice is amazing AND you've trained your replacement: you could have been a lot more hasty leaving. go get that other job and start making money. working weekends sucks, but you're single (right? or are you dating that girl) or otherwise not married/no kids so now is the time to work weekends and long hours.Domicron's Basement Gym and Fun House

Can confirm, semen is paleo.
My boss and I had an agreement where I would work through the time I gave him. He's not going to fire me (and especially not, considering my time here is up at the end of July anyway), but yeah, I mean I did manage to end up having to do practically the same amount of work with less hours... Which did kinda suck.
Not single anymore; I'm actually pretty optimistic about this relationship. And it's really this relationship that got me thinking about my financial future and that sort of thing. Gotta' figure that when you're single and still at home, you can afford to work P/T hours because if something happens and you have to go broke until next paycheck, there are really no consequences for that. I mean, there are, but you only really have to answer to yourself.
That, and my brothers have recently moved back in with me. So I'm looking at a full house 24/7, which means that there is no real privacy in my house anymore. That's really got me considering moving out come November and working the new job will help put me on track for that. Plus, if I have a room-mate (which I already planned to have), I'll be able to afford a place even more.
So yeah, all in all, this is a solid idea.

Happy Tuesday all
Wanted to get opinions on my cut
There are areas where there's veins and really lean (lower lower abs and there's some really long veins around the serratus area, which is a first)
Then there's fat in navel area, love handles
It's like 10 bf% one area and 20% other areas
I know we can't spot reduce but what I'm getting at is as I keep cutting .....are the areas gonna even out eventually?
I look like two phuckin bros now
A fat one and a getting ripped one
TFW the negative comments regarding cut outweigh (no pun) the positive onesLast edited by boo99; 07-05-2016 at 11:26 AM.

It happens to the best of us. Just use it to your advantage and turn the page. Something like this:
"Aw fuk, I messed up on my cut by eating all this junk food (or whatever the food is). Oh well, back on it tomorrow - I'm gonna crush my workout with all this extra fuel."
In all honesty, it is what it is. As long as it's not a frequent slip up - progress should be fine. One day is one day.Snapchat/Instagram: Mimsthe3rd

i mean in a relationship it's even more important. not that the woman will think less of you for sticking out your job and keeping your word, but honestly working and earning money is dignity. what's funny is that the person who told me that is a Buddhist monk, who lives a life of poverty by choice.
it's not the only source of dignity, nor is it the best way, but it is how life works for many of us. and being able to provide for yourself and save up money is important (unless she's rich, because ain't nothing wrong with marrying up)
has Boo done too good of a job cutting? wish i could give you advice, but there's a good possibility i will never cut to be as lean as you are now, in my life.Domicron's Basement Gym and Fun House

I think your friend would be right. It's tough although rehab is very much a mental game. It's an up and down rollercoaster.
It really depends on when I get asked how my rehab is - the answers vary from day to day. I was feeling great late last week, and the early part of the weekend. Moving around great, no brace, no crutches, and flexion/extension was getting close.
However, I got too excited about my ability to walk brace-free, and put too much stress on the knee by being back at work, walking, standing, and generally acting with little to no limitations for a few consecutive days. Each day the knee got a little more swollen. When the knee starts to swell, the quad - which has troubling activating already - fires even less which places even more stress on your knee. Essentially it compounds the problem of the knee swelling. The best thing to do is RICE and try not to be a hero. I'm still in the early stages of recovery and need to act accordingly.
I took the day off from the office, working from home, because it's that swollen and uncomfortable. So today, I'm a giant dunce and should sit in the corner while everyone flicks boogars at me. I knew better.Snapchat/Instagram: Mimsthe3rd
