Genetics, as with everything makes a lot.

Since he was shredded year round, my guess is he was constantly on "dry" roids which can often lead to fuked tendons. Specially when you use high doses for very long time. (Which he probably did).

I've never heard of anyone messing up their tendons to such an extent it requires some time of surgery, steroids or not. He must have been doing some utterly stupid chit and ignoring all the warning sides to have fuked his body this much.

i'm pretty sure most people who lift weights regularly get this.

i'm not sure if drugs have caused this, but i guess the amount of dehydration he's been through hasn't helped.

Certain drugs make you look godlike and aesthetic as hell but one of their side effects is that they absolutely wreck your joints and if you abuse them (like Lazar most likely did) they can really fuck you up for good, can't speak in more detail because steroid talk isn't allowed here. No remorse at all for him because he knew the risks involved.
