I agree with most of your assessment except Haynesworth. The team was turning too thuggish for pro sports IMO and the problem started right before Haynesworth turned thug. Granted, he was a victim of circumstance (being fed wrongly), but he needed to go somewhere else, anywhere else. Like Pac-man Jones, as awesome a returner as he was he needed to go elsewhere (he started the problem on the inside).

I literally jumped for joy and got a woodie when word came that CJ was gone. I disliked that guy from day 1. The Jets felt the pain later.

I feel pretty good about the Cowboys draft pics for a long time with the exception of that period where we had chit QB's before Romo. However, the Roy Williams trade was absolutely ridiculous. Lions laughed that one all the way to screening up a few extra picks.

As a Raider fan I have many to choose from in the last 13 years, but I think the Carson Palmer deal takes the cake for me. Even though they were like 6-0 the year Jason Campbell got hurt, they were still an average team at best. For some reason the front office thought that was "the year" and made that god awful deal thus messing up 3 years worth of drafting.

If one good thing thing came out of it they have made wiser drafting decisions the last couple years now and are starting to show some young progress.

Firing Jim Harbaugh

Don't be ridiculous. Niners may have a terrible season next year but they would've definitely had a terrible season if Harbaugh remained along with his guys.

Niners did him a favor and let him leave on a mediocre season where he can still point to his prior 3 successful seasons and pretend last year was an abnormality and not the start of a downward trend.

When the league has caught up to what you're doing and you don't feel the need to change you're going downhill fast.

It is a lost superbowl. The patriots should of won that game and Brady would have 5 rings. Was it the bears that year in the superbowl? if so the pats would have won.
