Reading an article at muscle&fitness I noticed it's stated that taking 2 to 5 g of creatine before your workout and then another 2 to 5 g after your workout. This is obviously just on workout days.
Does this seem excessive? I see most people on here talking about taking anywhere from 2 to 5 g per day.. This article from muscle and fitness is suggesting double that on workout days.

From a broscience standpoint, I have a friend who was at 30g/day and swore by it. A few others have gone to 10+, some said it made a difference, some said it didn't. I've personally gone to 10, and didn't notice anything different, but don't generally respond to creatine much anyway. So I'm thinking it could just be a mental thing at best.
That said, science says that you shouldn't need more than 5, ever. You can try it, but chances are you'll just pee out the excess.💪💪💪Dirty South Crew💪💪💪
