That 315 squat looked easy as hell. The last rep is actually the deepest, the others are about parallel. So I'm not sure if you're optimizing depth or you wanna play it safe, but I'd probably give myself a little more room than that.

@HealingHands Assuming everything goes well with the FAI surgery, you should be able to increase linearly for some time to get close to previous numbers. I second that Madcows is a decent program to do so. If you want a little more control over the jumps, I would actually recommend 5/3/1 itself. I think if you made some modifications early on in the process to ensure no problems with the hip, you could reach your goal numbers fairly quickly.
The main tweaks I would make would be to not rep out on the squat and deadlift every week in the beginning (first and maybe second mesocycle). I actually prefer that even when not injured, but that's a different story. When you do start repping out I would set an RPE and rep goal to stop at. Based on where you fall on your RPE and reps, you can increase the training max at a pace that you feel is appropriate rather than being stuck with 5-10 pound jumps per cycle. Since you are coming off of injury and surgery, you may need a slower increase at first, but gains should start to increase at a much faster rate as you heal fully. That system would allow you to tailor progression more based on the response and adaptation your body gives you.Like success, failure is many things to many people. With a positive mental attitude, failure is a learning experience, a rung on the ladder, a plateau at which to get your thoughts in order and prepare to try again. - W. Clement Stone

First contribution here and proof that I lift (kinda)...
Was able to put up 245x1 yesterday. A little critical that I didn't pause at the bottom, so I'll definitely look to do that on my next attempt.

Final heavy training week of prep before the meet, still 3-weeks out.
Going to use next week to do a bit of lighter training + mock meet just to see where I'm really at for attempt #'s and see how my body responds to the fatigue of performing big on all 3 of the lifts on the same day.
Final week I'll use to deload and then it'll be show time.
Finished today's bench work with a top set of 315 x 2

Topping out Squats today with my first attempt at 4 plates.
Squat - 405 x 1
****ed up at bottom portion of 405 squat due to headphone falling out and distracting me.
Will likely limit 3rd attempt to 400 on meet day so there should be no issue with hitting full depth.USMC (2009-2013)

No, everything just kind of went to **** after the headphone popped out because I have 0 attention span and got totally distracted lol
It popped out just before I hit depth.
Not sure if you can see it in vid or not but I actually ended up dropping my head and looking down to see it because I wasn't sure if the string was going to catch my knee on the way up and pull tight and completely **** up the lift or if I was safe to try and just push back up.USMC (2009-2013)

Did a little mock Bench & Squat session today to test how I'd feel following the heavy squat work with the heavy bench work.
Squats
Opener - 345lbs
2nd Attempt - 380lbs
Closer - 400lbs
Bench Press
Opener - 275lbs
2nd Attempt - 300lbs
Closer - 315lbs
Squat Opener - 345lbs
Squat 2nd Attempt - 380lbs
Squat Closer - 400lbs
Bench Opener - 275lbs
Bench 2nd Attempt - 300lbs
Bench Closer - 315lbs
I'm feeling comfortable with 300lbs being a 2nd attempt on bench, and hoping it'll easily leave room for 315-325lbs on my closer.
Between that and squats I'm hoping to make up 25-30lbs on my total, so I can possibly hit a 2nd attempt at 470-480lbs on deadlift, and even if I fail at 500lbs I'll still hit 1200 total for the meet.USMC (2009-2013)

Went through the full mock meet.
Results below.
Squats
Opener - 345lbs
2nd Attempt - 385lbs
Closer - 400lbs
Bench
Opener - 275lbs
2nd Attempt - 300lbs
Closer - 315lbs
Deadlift
Opener - 455lbs
2nd Attempt - 485lbs
Closer - 495lbs
First Attempts
Second Attempts
Closers
Results
9/9 - 400/315/495 = 1210lb Total @ 193lbs
Of course, validity of lifts is always open to interpretation and whether it was a true 9/9 is debatable.
Regardless, I'm happy with results and ready for a bit of deloading/active recovery over the next week and a half until it's show time!USMC (2009-2013)

Scheduled to arrive tomorrow with my belt, thanks to incredibly failed customer service from Inzer.
Would not recommend ordering from them (for anyone who may be looking to pick up equipment).
Will likely wear nothing but it for the next 10 days and will be doing full on Skillet Curls standing at the stove as I meal prep while wearing my belt.USMC (2009-2013)

Pretty much...
Story Time
Called a few weeks ago to place my order, however took advice and ACTUALLY CALLED in to customer service to have them check inventory prior to placing the order so I could ensure the products were in stock and ready to ship so I'd have enough time to train with them and break them in.
A few weeks pass and no products, no call, no email...but I noticed I had a random deposit into my account from them. Call to see what is going on...the products were NIS at the time of my order and were unshippable, so they simply refunded my money and didn't inform me that nothing shipped.
Ok, whatever. I let it go and while I still had them on the line told them again 'GO ACTUALLY CHECK YOUR WAREHOUSE AND MAKE SURE YOU SEE THE PRODUCTS SO YOU CAN GUARENTEE ME THEY ARE READY TO SHIP!'. She goes in the warehouse, comes back, yes they have the items ready to go and will ship first thing Monday and they even offered to upgrade my shipping free of charge to make up for it.
Good deal. I'm happy.
...called yesterday just to verify and get the tracking information...'We're sorry sir, it looks like your products didn't ship until Yesterday (Wednesday), so I won't have tracking info until tomorrow for you'.
Again, okay, whatever, I'll call back tomorrow for info.
I call today, only to be told the products actually haven't shipped and likely won't ship until Monday so I could possibly see them by the end of next week (leaving me with my deload week to break them in). Spoke with a manager, basically told her that her customer service crew is full of dumbasses and if my order doesn't ship today and I'm not provided with shipping information and they don't upgrade it to over night that I'll cancel the order and they can phuck off.
So, again I was ENSURED that I will be upgraded and products will ship today so I can have them first thing Monday...now we wait...

GJ IIFF!
I’m no judge or anywhere near it or anything… just a kid who’s done three meets in a lifetime so take with a small grain…
Squats look awesome, good depth all around. Bench first and second attempts look great. Not sure / doubtful the third attempt would pass at a meet, but hey it’s a mock meet. Does your fed have a start command? Or stipulate anything about head movement? I’m assuming you’ve already checked those things out, just curious.
Deadlift second/third I’m not sure would pass because of hitching. Even on the second attempt it barely passes your knees before it starts. First one looked great though, very smooth… so just like, do that all the time
@Inzer, honestly I’ve never had any problems with them. It’s just stuff takes awhile to get… and you kind of have to know that before ordering. I don’t think I’d ever order anything from them under a time crunch - though iirc the singlet I ordered (which I can’t wear because it doesn’t fit ) got to my front door w/i 2 weeks or less.
If you’re only waiting for a singlet, why not go pick something up from an athletic store - like a wrestling singlet - just in case? That’s what I use. It’s not fancy or cute but as long as you can compete in it what does that matter.

Alex, I saw that video on IG today and was really impressed! Your deadlift and overall strength is getting quite good. That being said, I don't want to hear you bitching about being weak
Casey, I ordered my belt and a tshirt on December twenty seventh and have yet to receive a shipping confirmation or tracking number despite receiving an email a month ago of its completion. I'm not mad or anything, but it's a little refi cultus given they state four to six weeks for you to receive them. It's whatever though becaus I'll still get it eventually. My Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=169516313
