If you mean Zmapp, then it exists but has like you said its experimental no long time side effects are known and it takes a long time + is expensive to produce, so much so that they dont have enough for the dallas nurses so they are using the blood plasma from someone else already with zmapp used on them in hopes of curing them

This is just like sars, west nile, H1N1, etc. Literally nothing will happen, in a couple weeks the news will stop reporting on it and we will never hear anything about it again.

Obviously not. SARS, and H1N1 are comparable to the flu. Ebola is a a very serious matter and isn't comparable to those scares. If someone is on a bus or plane with someone with Ebola, you're talking about 50-200 people being infected with a disease that has a 70% mortality rate. If 50% of those people spread it to other people, youre talking about thousands more being infected within weeks.

As long as this is truly not an airborne virus, we should be able to control it. From what I am reading, it is not airborne. I actually own a company that sells disinfectants to healthcare that are effective against these types of virus; and there are effective products to kill Ebola and Entero virus (Stuff kids are getting in schools).

Biggest problem with both virus' is people don't know what they have until they have spread it.

To combat this, the best thing you can do for yourself it:

1. Stay away from people with symptoms
2. Wash you hands with soap and water often
3. If you think you have been exposed go get checked out at a hospital. Expect to be there 21 days!
4. If you have open cuts, use an over the counter anti bacterial like Neosporin and keep them covered. These are routes of entry.
5. At the gym, make sure they are using an effective germicide to clean the machines. Windex or hydrogen peroxide wont do it. This stuff is spread by blood and bodyfluids (urine, sexual contact, feces, sweat, sputum)

Don't get tooo freaked out as it is not that easy to contract but you do need to be smart.
