Thanks, kinda funny how I now prefer to take unpumped and/or bloated pics without good lighting rather than under optimal conditions. Probably related to looking way better under poor conditions than optimal conditions before.
Viking pics is always a good start for a fresh week, especially for the women I imagine. And should motivate you guys, got a good chance at beating me this comp since ill be Viking bulking soon and ill get fat again

Whelp, I guess I needed a re-feed. Went full-potato yesterday. Ate 4 slices of deep dish pizza (I'm going to guestimate 1,200 cals for those. Maybe more) and had an entire plate of spaghetti (Had to be 1,500 cals, if not more) I didn't weigh or track. I absolutely CRUSHED my morning workout. I hit 285 lbs on decline x 2. I haven't hit numbers like that this year, at all. I think my body's sick of cutting. I'm sick of cutting. I expected to look super-bloated this morning but looked pretty normal! Sorry, didn't have phone so no pics.
Excited to bulk come this Fall/Winter! Only about another 1.5 months of cutting to go!*LF Chat Crew

Same here. Cutting drains me like a mofo. Hopefully, i'll get to 190, then just bulk to 200 for fall winter.
---------------------
I guess I could put workout related stuff in this thread.
SO today was chest and back for the routine i'm doing first up was bench press, 8,6,4,2 reps with 45sec rest. After last set keep dropping a little weight and knock out 5-10 more reps until you get to the bar, where you do the bar 20 times.
I KILLED it.
225x8
250x6
275x4
300x2
drop sets:
235x5
205x5
185x6
155x5
135x7
95x10
65x10
45x20
Then I did incline for
175x8
200x6
225x4
250x2
thre is a lot more, but this is what i was most proud of.... lol 45 seconds is like nothing. barely enough time to change the weight..Last edited by kureransu; 07-14-2014 at 10:05 AM.

First i didn't congratulate you on your 285! SO take it! Feels good doesn't it?
As far as the volume. This arnold blueprint routine is full of it. I didn't mention that every exercise has a warm up of 30 reps. I just do the bar. Don't even chance it lol. but after that i had this to follow with
SUPERSET
Dumbbell Flyes: 30, 8,6,4,2
Dumbbell Pullover: 30, 8,6,4,2
I did 10 (lol), 65,70,75,80 for my weights each set
chin ups:
4 sets to failure
17, 11, 10, 8
SUPERSET
Bent-over Dumbbell Row: 30x45, 8x185, 6x205, 4x225, 2x245
T-Bar Row: 30x45, 8x135, 6x160, 4x180, 2x200
Hanging leg raises
5x25 (wtf! WHO DOES THIS MANY LEG RAISES WILLINGLY)
But that was it. Took about an hour... the feels...

I have some disappointing news. I no longer have internet at my place but my apartment building has a computer to use for internet use so I decided to leave my internet off and use this. It saves me from a decent size internet bill. I cant install anything on it though.
Why do I do this weightlifting thing for the last 34 years with all its ups and downs life has handed me? Because each time I came back stronger. NEVER GIVE UP. Gym life is about more than muscles getting bigger and weights going up. Its wisdom discipline dedication humility you name it.

187.5 said the scales on Sunday.
I got pics, wow they are a wake up call, will post them hopefully later in the day if I get some time to do phone shenanigans to get them on a PC.
Finally feeling like I might be able to go lift something today - this sickness **** can leave any time it wants, and with two sick boys the sleep isn't exactly forthcoming.
Enough whining from me... back to Znik pics
EDIT: OK pics added. - lol at first pic not working because BB.COM's own address has F A G in it!

that makes sense then.
We are the same weight with same amount of pudge on the waistline.
I just have a little more muscle.
went back to lifting today!
Tried to do deads.
warmup at 135.
felt like my arm was going to separate at my bad elbow.
so went with DB shoulder presses, chin-ups, wide-grip upright rows & ez-bar curls.
didn't go too heavy since I could feel the elbow protesting a little but my button down short-sleeve shirt was real tight this morning so I know I got a decent lift in.

.4 lbs down. Doesn't surprise me. Had a tough time controlling my snacking.
"The hardship of the exercises is intended less to strengthen the back than to toughen the mind. The Spartans say that any army may win while it still has it's legs under it; the real test comes when all strength has fled and the men must produce victory on will alone." (Pressfield,1998, p.78)

I am. I did around 6 months of Stronglifts, all while in deficit. About that time I got tired of the constant stall and reset as I'm unlikely to make much more progress strength wise while still cutting.
I then shifted to Wendler 5/3/1. I like this program a LOT. More variety, still beat to hell when I get out of the gym, and geared towards monthly progression with the ability to still progress within any session by taking the last set to failure.
180.5cm see below:
That.
Well thanks for saying so. I'm not sure I'd say ":really strong" but it's better than many I see on here starting out.
The plan is to cut til there is no more fatty Mc Fat fat waistline - I think I'll likely need to drop to around 160 to be happy enough to begin adding some mass.
Once I start "eating", there's a good chance I'll go back to a 5x5 style workout to take advantage of the rapid progression for a while.
Or maybe I won't - that's a consideration for 2015 in all reality.
Slow steady mass addition for most of 2015, followed by coming in bigger and leaner next summer and hopefully every summer after that.
Probably more than a little.
I can only work with what I have, and what I've done to my body in the past.
It's all about being a better version of me each year from here on out.Lift heavy things, eat according to your goals.

The nation-state and society seek to control the body in a myriad of subtle ways, so if you are going to fight for the right to do with your body what you please, why not make it a battleground worth fighting for? ;)

A regular in the Losing Fat section, yes. However, I don't recall if you have ever posted in the LF Chat threads, such as the one below:
http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...hp?t=160820211
You are welcome to join the LF Chat or post in here. The 12-week challenge itself is limited to the members listed.

I'm pretty sedentary other than the gym, so my TDEE is only around 2400 - getting the loss rate up to 2lbs per week is pretty difficult, so I'd be happy with anything over 10lb over the duration of this "challenge" to be honest.
It's the 10lbs after that 10 I think that will make the most difference visually though.Lift heavy things, eat according to your goals.
