strong 17 days late...been busy with working and drinking.
Tuckermans is supposed to be an 7-9 hour round trip depending on how good of shape you are in. Baxter peak is no joke, wicked exposed....i need more experience before i will touch Katahdin, im working on getting over being afraid of heights....not a great fear for a mountain climber....lol
I am doing Osceola on the 25th of July and there is some exposure, so that will be a good start... I dont have a license so i havent been getting much vertical gain training, mostly just a lot of walking. Gonna hike Middlesex Fells on the 4th as some distance training.

You're right too, Katahdin is definitely no joke. We went there two summers ago, the hike is tough but definitely a lot of fun. Gotta try the Knife's Edge next time though
Yeah definitely, I still gotta hike Washington so that'd be perfect. A Katahdin trip could be fun too but it is a pretty long drive<<<***BMC***>>>

Hah, I work for State Department now, and unlike my last employer, they encourage us to be friendly and not secretive because we are diplomats. Dumb.
But anyway, it's just security/protective type work. I'm a project manager, though, so I don't have to get my hands too dirty if I don't want to.
I was supposed to leave in June. Then it turned into July. And now it's looking like it will be August. (Definitely no later than August, though). Year-long tour, with a few breaks here and there. Should be a jolly good time, especially if we take the troops out at the end of the year and it collapses just like Iraq is

Anne Gus? Das you? PM me for more info. srs.
People (specifically Drips...who was coincidentally disowned by his hyper-religious hindu household for being a closet homosexual) vouches for a place called "Machine" or some chit like that. Something with machine. It's some sort of night club and gets him all excited for some reason.
Maybe check it out, brah.
