Sad day for Michigan powerlifting. Don Yezbick was taken off life support today and probably won't last the day. He is in his late 70's and was an amazing mentor to many Michigan powerlifters. He help the state record for the clean and press back in the day. He trained with Olympic lifting legend Norm Schemansky who was the last US lifter to win gold at the Olympics. Huge loss.

went to doctors due to extreme shortness of breath lately. He took some tests and told me not to lift anything until I had a stress echo test on my heart.

carry event-keg, farmers, duck walk
press event-keg, axle, monster db
keg over bar -carry 3 kegs 20' then load over high bar

Weights for nationals are insane. 675# yoke run, 550# axle deadlift for reps, keg carry then load over a 54" bar with 200,225, 250#. Overhead is a 200# keg, 250# axle then a 120# monster db for reps. Carry medley is a 250# keg, 250# farmers then a 300# duckwalk.
