When was its reign over? 2001? I hope you realize it had a strong community for 7-10 years. What exactly about my post was meant to impress you? Your opinion of me means nothing. When I played Diablo 2 has little to do with the quality of the game, and has even less to do with how Diablo 3 turned out. I haven't played D2 in about 4 years. Was it dead in 2004-5? That's when I started. I was a menace in D2 classic from like 2007-2010.

Diablo 3 implementing the real money auction house alone was enough to deter me from buying the game at the start but that was only the tip of the iceberg. They removed world-wide hostile pvp, literally killing any danger in the world. They didn't allow lobbies and joining specific games / matches, instead you have to play with randoms if you're not already planning ahead of time with friends. The trading system was destroyed. The maps are far more predictable than the D2 ones which is a shame considering the possibilities going in. Legendaries were absolutely useless. No runewords (even though I preferred D2 classic over LoD for serious PvP). No chatrooms. No gambling items. Level 60 max? Gay. The new stat gain is stupid, why remove our option of choosing? The new skill selection is stupid, why can't we "use" more than a few skills at once? Brb scrolling F1-12 skills on my mousewheel in D2 was fun and optimal. The game catered to the casual crowd instead of the hardcore one. At launch it was unfinished, which is a joke considering the development time. Game looks like WoW. I never played Diablo 3 and don't intend to, but I spent 2-3 weeks after its launch watching a lot of streams trying to figure out if I should give in and buy it - verdict came out to no, not a chance. I've certainly missed a lot of problems with the game, as all of this has been off the top of my head. But if what you mean by "same game" is the fact you point and click and then right click or hotkey abilities in an ARPG style then Diablo 3 is the same game as Torchlight, and the same game as Path of Exile. I'd rather play PoE any day over D3. Oh and I also just remembered, lol just lol at a game that does not allow you to play offline. D2 offline was fun to test out potential builds or even go to Open Battle.net for some fooling around / Lan gameplay. D3 Lan gameplay? Nope, Blizzard says "f you". Also even more lol @ D3 launching and people not being able to play for 7-8 days. It's called running some stress tests you money-hungry twats.

It seems blizzard's dick is too far up your ass to sway your opinion, not that I care for the opinion of someone like that. Enjoy your poverty cash-driven MOBA when it hits.

Not to derail this thread, but if you're looking for a decent D2 esque game, apparently Path of Exile is excellent.

That means his ranking was around 4700 before his calibration matches and he lost about 200 mmr from those 8 losses. Valve patched it out but you used to be able to see your MMR before you completed your calibration matches. From what everyone saw, the 10 calibration matches don't really calibrate anything. It's basically just 10 matches where you win/lose 25 MMR from your precalibration MMR.

i wouldnt call it diving. He just underestimated how far behind him his team actually was. What a poor display from rtz.

Mind=blown @ this game, can't even imagine playing against any of these guys.

The fight @ 3:40 almost gave me a seizure with all the glaives flying around.

it's his playstyle that gets him killed. he plays a very high risk high reward style and it suits EG very much.

I just watched the IG vs navi vod from starladder and holy shjt, xboct's storm is 100% terrible. He got some kills later on but random panic ball lightnings in all directions made me cringe.

Also, looking for a few brahs to group up with during weekends and stomp ranked cause playing solo is slowly draining my sanity

dendi tinker? I am definitely gonna keep both eyes on him, after criticizing him earlier this week for his tinker play.

edit: poor draft from mvp, poor laning phase, not once did they attempt blink doom on dendi to shut him down. Not like it'd matter, dendis positioning in fights was horrible. He just doesn't have a great game impact like his other heroes compared to tinker. brb hex, blink, almost shivas. Stands outside of fights and spams marches that dont touch enemy heroes, spams rocket and 1 or 2 hexes the whole game rofl.
