I'm sure I watched some 3DMJ videos where they say if you are a natural there is no point in cutting salt as holding water is not a problem as it doesn't affect how you look. I can't remember exactly, but they joked about some taking grams of salt the day before a competition for lulz just to prove it doesn't matter.

They don't play around with salt too much at 3DMJ, other coaches might. There is a final week and show day protocol but supposedly how you can look when you're not holding much water is different from person to person, It could just make you look stringy and flat on stage so I assume that's why they don't risk playing with it. I don't think we can make an example out of people who are 10%+bf.

I was up in Birmingham 2 weeks ago for a week, what a pov hole... (joke) it's not too bad. Staying on Broad Street at the Hilton. I did pause squats for the first time in about 6 months this week and hit a 50kg pr lolol

Actually prefer pause squats - feels more controlled. Guess it's easier with olympic squats than parallel because there's no need to 'hold' in the bottom position?
Used to do 5/3/1 FS then straight into 10x3 ATG pause squats @ ~80% - good for confidence under the bar if nothing else

They do feel a lot more controlled, but I'm not really used to training in that bottom range of motion because I spent the first year of training squatting high and the second year just breaking parallel. Just getting out of the hole really kicks my ass and destroys my hips. I do ATG paused squats really focusing on staying tight in the hole, because that's where I fuk up on normal squats; I tend to lose tightness in the bottom position and mis-groove it.

To put it into perspective I did 97.5kg 4 sets of 6 paused squats in my most recent workout, and today hit 110 3x5 normal squat. I've been fluctuating between 110 3x5 and 115 3x5 for about 6/7 months now because of a form and possible mental issue, but it seems to have sorted itself out.

The uni experience of being single is overrated. TBH tho u dont seem to appreciate her so just break up with her. Once you realise you're only getting laid every now and again you'll probs regret your decision, but regardless go where your heart wants to brah

It wasn't bad but unless you're CEOing and have a lot of money to spend it isn't that great. My friend has been a few times before and he told me straight away "as soon as our drinks arrive they'll be all over us" - and how right he was. I had heard that girls flock to you straight away at some strip clubs and it can be annoying so when they didn't I thought that was nice. Ordered a drink and when they arrived then they all flocked to us.

Honestly, quite annoying. My friends kept telling them it was my birthday so they were a bit more generous with what they'd do but equally that's only because they'd think I wanted to spend a lot of money because it was my birthday.
