**************JOESWAT, THE ORIGINAL JUGGERNAUT **************************
JUGGERNAUT TIP!!
Effective weight training depends on proper technique.
Proper form is essential for success when training for anything from
general fitness to sports events and/or competitions. It is the quality
of training and not the quantity that influences your progress, Time
under tension, angle of movement, range of motion, skills/techniques
and many other factors all contribute to a particular resistance
training session. It is important to understand the proper mechanics of
training to get the most benefit from your routines.

Sorry to hear about the blisters... just shorten the rest a bit and keep your intensity up to burn the fat off! Glad to see you now working more angles on the bench like we had talked about! You will definitely start feeling it and see it in the mirror as well! Looking forward to seeing those final pics!

Ahh, that makes more sense. I never really thought of making a giant shake and splitting it up... if I do that it's usually accidental lol.
My weeks going alright... feels slow... I haven't been as productive as I wanted to be, but I'm still chuggin along with the weights and football practices. Tonight is squats+chest, tomorrow is football practice... ouchie combo lolBluePrint Believer!

Glad to be home!
These are what I was talking about...just in case you thought I was fibbing! LOL
I've returned from the conference in Anaheim, where I got free cardio each day; I chose to walk the 12 minutes to a from my hotel to the conference venue, and averaged about 3.5 miles each day for 4 days! Pretty cool, except for the blisters I had to contend with! Bandaids and waterproof bandages saved me!
A big shoutout to Ashley and the other IAJ finishers this week. Ya'll did such an amazing job and I'm proud to have met all of you and talked "shop" with you.
I took yesterday completely off (other than walking) to rest up. I'm feeling like I'm getting a cold, so I'm fighting that off and chose to rest. I dropped about 6 pounds during my trip, so I know something is wrong and hoping that it doesn't take a turn for the worse.
I did get a chest/tri workout in as well as a back/bi/shoulder day in on my trip. Tonight is another leg day, and I'll be adding in Jan's quarter reps in my leg extensions. I'll be using Kris Gethin's DTP leg day as a template for the entire workout.
JuggHP Review x 2
Taste 9/10 - 1 scoop with 4 oz water.
Focus 10/10 - with limited equipment at the hotel fitness center, one has to make the best out of what he has.
Energy 9/10 - Energy was thru the roof, which is weird for me due to the fact that there was so much walking involved and diet was hit and miss
Strength 10/10 - with 50# DB's being the max, one tends to feel super strong!
Pump 12/10 - highest score yet; I don't know if it was the lighting in there of what, but my pumps seemed super crazy and I felt full and powerful.
A big shoutout to my wife, Sara, who brought me another cooler to keep so I could put my food in there and use the ice machine in the hotel to keep it cool and safe. Without my wife, I would be a shambled mess.
Here's what I had to battle last night after my 5 year old daughter saw it in our front yard:
Here's a bit of Lego Moto for ya'll!:

Well, the heel blisters were from a few days earlier when I was doing my union break walk in cowboy boots and my sock got all mangled up. Then, as I was altering my walk for those, I gained the underfoot one. SMH, its always something with these dang feet.
I felt really bad for not re-locating him but snakes are a phobia of mine. I promised a co-worker that if I came across another gopher snake I would, but if it's a green mojave rattler, that sucker is going down.Infinite Labs "I Am Juggernaut" Challenge 2014, 3rd Place Winner

Damn those are some nasty blisters... why no mole skin? That has always worked wonders for me! As for the snake, it is that time of year out there... and here as well. I had to take my dog to the vet wednesday morning and found out she got bit by a snake so I get to bring her home today if all has gone well with her over the night! Glad your wife goes the extra mile to help you prepare for those trips and all! otherwise you might slack out...lol

I finally had to cut out of a session early to go to Walgreens and get myself some anti-blister supplies! Much better now.
Yes, I probably would slack off if she wasn't behind me, LOL!
Dog bitten by snake is no good. We have one mastiff with an underdeveloped front leg, so he's a lot slower. Now, you got me worried about him!Infinite Labs "I Am Juggernaut" Challenge 2014, 3rd Place Winner

First off, that chest workout was sick and just about everything I like to do on boobs day. Used to do heavy flyes when I was younger- 60's- but they bother my shoulders now but would love to do them again.
Poor snakeee! What'd u do to him David? Snakes don't bother me but once when my kids were young, there was a rattler on my driveway and the kids were out playing so I freaked and ran over him with the car!
Always wanted to try Gethin's DPT but not sure if that's wise at 60...
I don't have to say "finish strong" to u David...ur gettin it done I see!!Training log:
