Brahs complaining about character models not being crysis level need to remember the game is built with AvA in mind. Aka several hundred players on the screen at once. Considering this feat, graphics are significantly better comparatively than say Dark Age of Camelot was in its time.
Edit: also, if you're complaining about low level armor models you clearly forgot you're playing an mmo. No such thing as baller in the early levels.|| MFC || C7 Crew || Trance & Techno Crew ||

Low settings - char models are awful
High settings - char models are very good, better than most (all?) other popular MMOs
Played 7am - 6pm yesterday but my gf's grandma died so I stopped to hang with her. And had a busy day today so I'm just now hitting 19. Meanwhile my guild is mostly 28-35. Feelsbadman.jpg
Never did I think I'd have those WoW type feels back...but I do. They're dulled a bit since I have a lot more MMO knowledge than I did when first stepping into WoW, but they're there.Übermensch

sickening. anytime brah. i have finished Khenarthi’s Roost. so il see you in Auridon . finishing where i left off.
theres a q & a on that site. says you had to have ordered before march 29.so no. & that site looks shady as fuk.
its two servers. NA & EU. same alliances can play together. but we can all communicate to each other in guild chat.
Sorc is slow. & i wouldn't start with Sorc unless you have done it before.
D P S if you just want to do a lot of damage & wreck everything & grind levels.
i enjoy the game. i think i am behind pretty much everyone but i dont mind. i just take it all in. i dont skip dialoge unless i did the quest in the beta.

I started typing a response to this and it turned into a giant post giving a brief rundown of all the classes. Also I'm playing on Daggerfall Covenant but I'll join misc guild to bs with you *******s.
Also sitting at 44 Provisioning at level 21 (way behind on leveling, fukking exam week) lol. So if you need some buff food on DC faction hit me up on PMs here for my ingame name.
Sorc is the master class. Crystal Fragments is the best single target spell in the game, combined with an Endless Fury execute move and the Overload Ultimate which AoEs everything hard while regenerating magicka. Throw in Critical Surge, Inner Light and Encase/Lightning Pool.
Bar two (unlocked at level 15) is resto staff with some heals and Sorc CC abilities and other utility on it. Most, if not all, top pvp guilds will have resto staff on their bar swap. It's simply too powerful to have a couple dedicated healers supported by literally everyone with off heals.
Sorc can also go melee. Although even for that you'll want to be magicka based rather than stamina based (same with most classes/builds though). Sorc is simply too efficient at magicka regeneration.
My guild mates have played beta (long term closed beta and the weekend ones), and they've run the numbers in Excel, and Sorc edges others out in terms of burst D P S. BUT it's not insanely better, and comes at a price of some squishiness.
DK can be great. A lot of my guilds DKs are going destro staff/resto staff, even the tanks, and are killing it. A fire destro staff has so many synergies with DK that they still use it for the melee and it gives them much needed range capability for siege defense, DK lacks long range attacks within its class abilities. They told me DK starts off a bit slow but picks up in terms of fun and feeling more powerful by level 12ish.
Templar is also solid. I'm not sure how the recent nerf to Restoring Spirit (it all but eliminated their magicka recovery) will affect them down the road. They've got high D P S potential despite appearing to be a tank/healer class on the outside. However, they directly use magicka to heal themselves (where as other classes have abilities that siphon health through offense, such as Sorc's critical surge) so many at level 50 and at Veteran Ranks (post lvl 50 stuff) 1-10 claim they can't keep themselves alive due to the lack of magicka regen. Of course you can stack Magicka Recovery gear but then you lose out on D P S by doing so. However, I have faith that if it really is that big of an issue it will be fixed.
NB I highly suggest you don't roll, but I'm approaching it from a min/max, group pvp point of view. They have great D P S and some good 1v1 or small scale potential, but are easily lost in the crowd in larger fights (and not in a good, stealthy way). It's not so much that they're bad as it is that other classes just do everything better. There will be NBs who are amazing and wreck people as well as the others, but this will be the top .5% (pulled that # outta my ass but you get the idea). Trust me on that one. A lot of people won't believe me. NBs are strong for leveling which adds confusion to this issue and seems misleading. Many say "well my NB did great in beta" to which I say it was simply due to the low level of everyone in pvp. Despite stats being scaled, the level 10-20 pvp from beta was not entirely representative of level 50 pvp. It's not simply the first person to sneak attack wins once you're higher up, and things change. If you don't care to min/max and aren't looking for a serious pvp guild (we only took on 3 NBs of 48 people total) then go for it. Just trying to warn you. I and most of my guild were all set on being NBs but no matter how hard we tried to make a NB build we'd realize after building it that another class can do that same build but better.Last edited by OhioStateBucki; 04-01-2014 at 06:23 AM.

Just purchased the game, I hope I don't regret it. How much RAM do I need? One of my sticks died so I currently only have 4gb...
