Anyone else eat before bed and still wake up starving? This sucks. I woke up after 5 hours of sleep and it was from hunger... Its happening more and more frequently to me too... I'm ready to start picking up donuts or something so I can have something carby as a midnight snack.

I usually have cottage cheese before bed. I don't feel hungr when I wake up if I had better control over macros the day before. If I ate crap then that's when I wake up mega hungry.

So I bought one of these Evol burritos a month ago.. Delicious little things... I was like no ways when I ate them.. they are good and not a bunch of preservatives.

like read the nutritional facts.. I got them at Target and was actually really surprised at how good they were. It was like wow oh wow these are healthy and tasty... and not upidy organic... not a bad lunch for $3.00 and its 11 oz so its big.

Tomorrow I go to a book launching party. Some months ago I wrote an articlol about the opera company for a local compilation called "Secret Rockford". The volume has now been published, and my articlol is in it, so I get a free copy and I get free noms at the party.

Going on a hike tomorrow; long hikes every other week or so are how I get my cardio in. I guess I'm getting pretty boring. I used to go clubbing every weekend when I lived in Philly, but the club near me isn't that good, and it's annoying to drive to (and park in) SF.

I wish I could go on a hike outside... I've been cooped up indoors for months now... The most fresh air I get is walking to and from my car right now... But its been absolutely frigid outside so there is no way to avoid it. I got asked by a friend of mine to join him at the club last night... it was interesting... I don't know why I just don't like going out and clubbing.. Very few people approach or talk to me so I just kind of feel awkward.. I'm cute and get hella compliments and semi hit on when I go out... I also can't dance... like at all.. two left feet chopped off and stewed is my dancing ability.

They'll approach, or at least pinch when they walk by. Depending on the laws, this might not be possible at your favourite watering hole, but there are places where it can be done. If that's not your speed, then don't force it. Could backfire.

I don't think I could do that at most places that I go to around here... Though I could definitely at a bathhouse... lol. There are a couple leather bars I could get away with it at... I have them now.. just still too much fat lol.

Some clubs have "underwear nights" or "jockstrap nights", where most people are wearing such things. They're pretty fun actually, although I haven't gone to one since I moved.

I went to the gay bar down here this weekend. WHY does everyone have to be so weird? I was literally getting stared at by everyone and I could hear people talking behind my back. At one point I turned around and these guys were like "oh **** he heard us". I found myself looking at the floor the whole time. Makes it hard to meet people or have a good time. But at least one of the bartenders was normal and kept me company. I need some gay friends

Well, I think you have to overcome some insecurities, which most of us have. I think it's great when they are staring and talking about you, more flirting opportunities. Be confidant, stand tall, show off your hard work and let the fly's you like land on your **** (so to speak).

Lots of people are attracted to me. There's a difference between people wanting my body and people wanting to date me. I also get nervous or bitchy sometimes, along with other things I'd rather not discuss on a public forum. I do have to say that I have been on 3 dates with a guy that seems promising, and he survived me being really bitchy this morning. Usually 4-5 dates is when either me or the other guy decides that we're not right for each other, so if he lasts that long, he may be a keeper. Then there's another guy that is completely fine with all that I think is wrong with me and I think we'd make a great couple, but he says he's not ready for a bf as he wants to get settled in to his job first, and who knows how long that'll take.

Getting laid and getting a relationship are vastly different. I feel that is the problem most of faced when we are younger and wanted to settle down.

So I have an odd question... I am getting very vascular... like veins in my hands are can be seen from space i swear to god and i mean it looks kind of creepy to me... Is there anything that I can do about that? Since I have lost weight I have been like this but the weight but its kind of grossing me out... I swear my hands look like they belong to an old lady sometimes.. Or I am a medical professionals wet dream for finding a good vein. LOL. Any suggestions?.

Fluid balance (dehydration/salt/etc). Elevation in blood pressure. Coffee. The dependent state of limbs. All variables that can contribute to it. Some things you will have to accept. As one becomes thin, your veins are more apparent. My lower ab veins are my measure if I have too much body fat. If I can see them, I am at the correct body fat. When I don't see them, I have too much body fat.

Also, you are too young for old women's hands. If you are starting to look like that. Get yourself some moisturizer.

Duh the internet... lol... I recently started down a journey in dom sub culture... but hands on version... Its interesting to say the least... The only problem I have is the Sir I am seeing went too far with me last time... So I am not nearly as excited to go back as I was initially.. But there's nothing I can do about it... I have not built a functional TARDIS without a device of that nature I can't change the past... I think I would compete if I got my body in the right shape... I think it would be fun.

I guess I am a hold out here. I mean seriously the leather and the dom/sir culture just makes me giggle. To each his own, but it would take a huge effort to not laugh out loud. I understand everyone's sexual expression is different but playing dress up to me isn't about fantasy...it kind makes me feel that at some psychological level people are not accepting something..

As far as I know it has been debunked that coffee is a diuretic... at least the effect is very mild, especially when you're used to it.

My understanding is it is a bladder stimulant more than anything else.

I don't get it either. I also don't understand why they aren't there to have fun. They take their time in the bar far too serious for me. I hate the hungry eyes as well. When they are watching you with too much eye contact for comfort...I don't know why they say things just loud enough so you hear them as well. If they wanted to keep it quiet, they know better. For comment like that, there is always "pretty not deaf" or "crazy not deaf". Or depending on my state of alcohol consumption, I might start getting a little offensive.

You're a new face if you don't go out to bars often. The guys are likely talking about you because they're curious.

It can be weird, but you can also look at it that's it is better than not being acknowledged at all. When a crowd is curious, they're more receptive and you can easily approach any person there.

My friends and I are thinking of having an anti-valentines party. All will wear black, streamers and balloons will be black, the food and drink will all be black or very dark (double dark-chocolate cake, black lager, etc.) and there will be appropriate videos to watch: War of the Roses, Far From Heaven, The Breakup, Blue Valentine, or whatever other videos about failed relationships may be available.
