Looking for a critique on my first attempt at carb cycling

After hearing about how great carb cycling is for cutting/losing fat for so long, I have finally decided to give it a serious shot.

I was hoping someone here could give me some advice/tips after looking at my macros. I am 29, weigh 188, lift 5 days a week, and try to do at least 35 minutes of cardio a day while trying to cut. I eat an average of about 1,500 cals on a low carb day and normally in the low 2,000's on a high carb day. I do 3 days low carb, 1 day high carb.

So far it has been working absolutely great for me, but I am always looking to improve and learn something new. Below is the cal/macro count dabout the last week. It looks the same in the prior weeks so this should give people a good idea how my nutrition looks.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Monday, Jan 20th - Low Carb

    1,520 Cals 53.5 Fat 62 Carb 185 Protein

Tuesday, Jan 21st - Low Carb

    1,510 Cals 51 Fat 76 Carb 175 Protein

Wednesday, Jan 22nd - High Carb

    2,285 Cals 46.5 Fat 251 Carb 225 Protein

Thursday, Jan 23rd - Low Carb

    1,545 Cals 49.5 Fat 62 Carb 203 Protein

Friday, Jan 24th - Low Carb

    1,515 Cals 33 Fat 73 Carb 214 Protein

Saturday Jan 25th - Low Carb

    1,560 Cals 43.5 Fat 53 Carb 220 Protein

Sunday, Jan 26th - High Carb

    2,495 Cals 50.5 Fat 289 Carb 224 Protein

Monday, Jan 27th - Low Carb

    1,570 Cals 54 Fat 53 Carb 207 Protein

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If there is anything I should be doing differently or should change, please let me know!

Also, I haven''t eaten junk in a long time, and I am not sure if this is the reason, but even on or after high carb days I am just feeling sluggish. My workouts seem to be a lot less effective. Some people brought up the "cheat meal" theory to me, but I don't feel a need to cheat unless it would maybe give me that pick-up.

    Thoughts on any of this?

I am a believer in carb cycling and I had great success and I actually had what seemed to be a recomp. I have a thread on here with pics if u want to check out the before and after pics. Anyway, carb cycling on the weekly basis has to do with the total amount of calories a week. Your distributions may be a bit off but I don't have time to crunch the numbers for you. You are probably under eating if I were to guess.

Right on. I thought the same thing earlier, but I always felt just right at that amount of calories and have had great gains/losses so I just never messed with it.

But I will probably increase to 1,700-1,800 now and see how it goes.

Thanks for the input man, I'll check out that thread.
