God I hate this feeling, why does it happen?
Doesn't happen every time, but it still happens every now and then, am I just working them too much?
Any hints on a faster recovery?

Haha that's so funny dude. The first time I ever worked out in my life this happen to me. I was walking around like a trex for the day. Not sure how I fixed it though...

Is the spot right below your bicep really sore? like the inside of your elbow. I hate when that gets super sore

yea its because you went all out right away without your muscles being in tune with it. This happened to me but eventually you won't get so sore, don't let it fool you though because you don't necessarily have to be sore in order to be gaining.
I love being sore though, it lets me know something is happening and it's not necessarily a bad sore. When I first started my arms got like that and it lasted for a few days. I thought I had injured myself as I had a hard time even bending my elbow to eat!

Make sure you're getting enough food/calories. That's the primary concern.
The second thing is like people here already said you probably went too hard too quick. It reminds me of when I was 16 and hadn't worked out in around 2 months. Went and hit the gym hard, and did a **** ton of abs. My abs were so sore the next day that I couldn't get up without help.Dirty Leb Crew

It happens. As long as it's the bicep muscles and not the tendons that's sore it's one of those good problems. You likely hit it hard. Eat good and get rest. If the tendons become sore (toward the forearms), it usually screws up my training.

this is a good thing...means that you hit them hard...DONT hit them again until you have healed

Get your protein in and get your sleep in. Embrace the soreness; sometimes it's a part of the journey.
