I find shows that have a female protagonist to be EXTREMELY annoying. The jokes are horrible (usually to help with it there is a laugh track like 2 broke girls so you know when to laugh since without it you wouldn't), they make the female OVERLY emotional/needy (there are strong females out there... right?.... please?) and it's extremely unrealistic in terms of her capabilities (brb female beating down a 220 lb male like it's nothing at 110 lbs soaking wet).
Only show I've REALLY enjoyed was Fringe that had female as main char.
Strongest example of a show I hated with a female protagonist is The Closer. God, I wanted to murder that woman at the end of the series, I don't even know why I kept watching after the 2nd/3rd season. Just had to finish the series I guess.

I'm going to preface this with the fact that I didn't read any of your convo but, I saw 9 images of texting (messaging whatever). That's a lot of messages to exchange.
