Watched some YouTube video by this British guy who did a thing about what a watch means about the wearer. Apparently the royal oak means you have a small penis. His words, not mine, I assure you. Mirin watch collection at 25. My vote is Patek.
Edit: my opinion has no relation to said video. The royal oaks are beautiful watches and I'd rock one if I could afford it

To adjust my watch I need:
Pin Pusher
Chain nose pliers (maybe, might have these already)
Bracelet holder
Does anyone know a good reliable place where I can buy quality products of these? I'm on amazon but I'm not sure if these marketplace ones are good.

anyone know anything about either of these? they were in my cousin's house who passed away, and my grandmother inherited her belongings. we have no idea who they belonged to or how old they are. the caravelle still works, not sure on the citizen, likely only needs a new battery.
EDIT2: just found on another watch forum that caravelle's are by bullova and have a dating system. "the first character is a letter indicating the decade (L=50's, M=60's,N=70's, etc) and the second character is the year in that decade. So (for example) M5 would indicate 1965."
this places mine as a 1975. its N5
any info on em, really. possible dating etc
EDIT: realize the back is pretty unreadable of the citizen

Random side note, but has anyone been extremely underwhelmed with IWC watches? I know they are quite highly regarded in the watch community but I had a chance to play with a friend's today (portuguese chrono) and I was pretty appalled at how underwhelmed I was. I always had one as a grail dress watch in the back of my head but after handling it today I'm not so sure.
Anyone in here like them / have one?I like fast cars, nice watches, sharp knives, and good smells.

'mirin conundrum. id go with the royal oak. hands down for me. i like the design of the RO much more. the bracelet is another big plus for me. the RO bracelet is distinctive and beautifully finished. the nautilus bracelet is well, mundane. i havent handled it, but im sure its nice enough, im just talking about its design here.

AP ROO and PP Nautilus were both designed by the GOAT watch designer Gerald Genta. Hard to go wrong with either.

In my situation I just thought like this:
I don't have a grand the buy a real classy watch, and any watch by a watchmaker brand in my 150-300 price range will either be ugly or over-price rip off. In that pricerange and considering your age I would just buy a fashion watch like Armani. They are extremely sexy and the quality is reasonable. Unless you got at least a grand for a Tag Heuer it's probably not worth buying a watch for its history but more for its looks.

Can anyone with a SKX007 comment on how big they wear, I've got 7" wrists and wondering if it'll look a bit big (42mm?)

We all have our opinions, I spent months looking for a watch in my pricerange and didn't want to blow it on some ugly crap. Looking at watch sites there's just an armada of ugly-ass chunks of metal ar $300, complete rip-offs.
Got a grand? Great buy a Tag Heuer, a true Swiss piece of class. If you don't then just buy something that will look nice.

Just an FYI for anyone planning on getting a Rodina: If you ask the seller in the comments section, you can have him include both brown and black straps and he only charged me 5 extra dollars. I have heard that the straps aren't the best quality but still for $5 I'll take that.
