Hi,
Why is it whenever I do weight training, I gain weight?
I haven't eaten any extra calories.
I weight train about 4 times a week.
I still do the same amount of cardio.
What's wrong?
Thanks

I'm trying to lose weight but tone-up at the same time.
My diet looks like this.
BREAKFAST: 30g Protein Powder
50g Oatbran
Home Made Smoothie
SNACK: Fruit
LUNCH: Chicken + Vegetables
SNACK: Yogurt
TEA: Fish + Vegetables
I do 20mins Cardio 4 times a week and weight train 3 times a week.
Thanks for your help.

muscle weighs twice as much as fat does
it's a good thing why wouldn't you want it to happen - in order to look lean you are going to need to have some muscle or else you are simply going to look either A. Skinny Fat or B. Anorexic
as long as your BF% doesn't increase then you have nothing to worry about...imoPerfection in mind, perfect body!

mmmm maybe it came out wrong lol
no naturally 1lbs of fat is exactly the same as 1lbs muscle
I guess I was talking about the amount of space it takes up - thanks for picking that up

so do I so I guess we're even
nah you made a really good point there, I guess I'm so used to the old saying that I forget it's totally D'uh and impossible
it's like saying what weighs more
1 ton of feathers
or
1 ton of Stone
(you wanna say stone because you know it's heavier but the weight is given to you)Perfection in mind, perfect body!
