HEY EVERYONE!!!!
The walk has been walked. There were 6 bikini girls total, all novice - so a very level playing field. 3 were in short, 3 in tall (I'm sure you don't need to ask where I was). Some pics!!
Before and after the tan:
Some hotel shots getting ready:
And then some nice photos after pre-judging!
There were about 60 competitors at the whole competition - most classes had about 4-7 people in them, except men's bodybuilding... which had 24 LOL.
My boyfriend took a video and for the talls, I think my posing was the most natural and had the most personality - but it's really hard to say how the judging is going to go. ALL the other girls in my class were SUPER lean - like every rib showing, very tiny butts. I had the booty of the group, surprise surprise. I also felt like I had the most muscular legs of the 6. We will just have to wait and see!!
Heading back over at 5 and then BARBEQUE BACON CHEESEBURGER TIME **** YES WITH BBQ PULLED PORK ON TOP OF THE BURGER YES THAT'S RIGHT AND THEN A BROWNIE SUNDAE AND OH MAYBE TACO BELL LATER IN THE EVENING TOO SINCE IT'S RIGHT ACROSS FROM THE HOTEL!
Can't wait to be a piggy. Updates later this evening when I know stuff. Love you all for cheering me on thus far!!!!!!!If you change nothing, nothing will change.

Aw thanks you guys, so much!! Tahini - the tan looks FREAKY in the hotel bathroom Can't wait for the stares later at the restaurant!! Eating a blueberry flavored protein bar right now that they gave us at the comp... it's like eating a dessert. So yummy.
If you change nothing, nothing will change.

Thanks all!!!
My reward:
It was EVERYTHING I wanted it to be. And then I got a medium (yes, medium - they are HUGE) reese cup blizzard from DQ and then proceeded to not move for the rest of the night cause I physically couldn't
In the end I placed 3rd for bikini tall ... out of 3. I have to be honest and say I was a bit disappointed, because the judges ended up leaning towards (hahaha my puns kill me) the more lean look, but those girls didn't have muscle anywhere on them under all the leanness. That frustrated me a lot. BUT, at the end of the day, I'm proud of ME which is all that matters! And, bikini is not my spot in the world anyway - as you all know, my heart is in figure, I just wanted to get some competition experience/dieting experience/everything else before jumping into that beast
My mentor at work is probably more excited than I am (and that's a lot) to start getting me ready for figure Gonna take 2 weeks off of everything and just enjoy free evenings, eat whatever, and have some time with friends & family, then I will begin my training! I will NOT be counting macros for my bulk. I was advised to just eat when I need food, and eat healthy, and since I've gone through this process once now, I'm very good at estimating ounces of meat and putting together balanced meals, and I think this will also help take care of some of my obsessive natures about food! So I am very excited about this! This may also help cut down on fat gains during my bulk - I definitely had many nights where I forced everything down and that was no fun!
Thank you so much to everyone who stuck through this log and cheered me on I really couldn't have done it without all your encouraging words of wisdom. You guys are the best

Haha agreed! But I learned a lot and I'm happy with what I brought - and no big deal anyway cause figure is where I want to be in the end I know that bikini judging criteria is very personal with the judges, and that's just how it is. Thank you bbb
Thank you three!!If you change nothing, nothing will change.

You look beautiful and definitely achieved your goal. Yeah you could have just not bulked or done it half-arsed and stayed super skinny and 'lean'...but you're already in a great place to start working towards figure, and meh to the judges if they aren't into muscles and booty. I think not counting on your bulk is a great idea btw.

It's crazy how shows vary in regards to what they are looking for! But congrats on doing it, that's an awesome achievement in itself.
So excited to watch your progress on the next journey! In the mean time enjoy all the yummy foodMy Journal:http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=142503571&p=835905131
