    HIIT vs slow cardio

    I'm not sure what kinda cardio to do for fat loss. Just wanna lose about 10 pounds to lean out. Some people say HIIT and other intense training will burn fat more some say long slow cardio like taking an hour walk will burn more fat. Which one should I do?

    Both work given enough time. The most important thing is your diet though. From what I've seen, HIIT will help you lose the fat faster and will help you keep on more of the muscle.

    I enjoy doing both. The HIIT is used more sparingly, although I'm doing it a lot right now as I'm taking part in a challenge.
    Most of my cardio sessions are around 40 minutes, it's my thinking time.
    Both methods would be pretty ineffective if my diet wasn't in order

    When your diet is in order. I'd say both slow cardio like walking and high intensity is nice. Just don't overdo the HIIT, or you will wear yourself out if you have big caloric deficit.

    best is all kinds of cardio because hiit helps the anaerobic system and slow is aerobic

    everything in moderation :P

    HIIT burns less net calories during the workout itself, yet it is claimed to enact a sort of heightened "afterburn" effect, where your BMR increases for a certain period of time after the workout. Just do whichever you prefer personally and make sure your diet is in order.

    HIIT is preferred due to its lactic enticement and reaching a greater bloodwork threshold whilst stimulating a greater kinetic force over small intervals which nets a bigger electric stimuli via the nervous system. MISS is preferred due to the last CNS comment as it's less CNS taxiing.

    Overall, MHR over the time frame should be indicator rather than the methodology, and as it's always been- Caloric intake reciprocity to TDEE.

    My friend: I personally understand the level of language and the acronyms you are using, yet this is an online forum full of 18 year old wannabe bodybuilders, I'm afraid the majority won't understand or gain any knowledge from what you're trying to convey.

    Do whichever you have time for. Sometimes I don't want to spend 1hour on cardio so I do HIIT 12~20min. the "afterburn" effect is greatly exaggerated in my experience unless your actually panting/on the floor by the end of your session.
