I'm not sure of the reason why this is in place, could someone please aware me. Especially in the "Workout Journal" sections, this feature really needs to be added because I'm sure most users would like to have a space in the OP with certain dates of achievements and stuff like that.
If this isn't possible I'd just like to know the reason for not allowed posts to be edited after 48 hours. Cheers guys.

There's people who will routinely use the edit/delete function to delete their posts within 48 hours to try and maintain a better "post to rep ratio." If everyone was allowed to delete their posts from the moment they signed up you'd have more people going to the effort of consciously deleting their posts and they'd more than likely have ridiculous ratios of x rep power to 0-1 posts.
Doesn't sound too bad, if people want to go to the effort of doing it then who cares? But if it was like this there'd be less posts/information/content on the forums for current and new possible members to read and learn or be entertained from. So it would basically decrease forum activity. Since this forum is one of the biggest on the internet and definitely contributes a lot of page views and revenue to BB.com, it would actually be better for them to do the opposite and just completely remove the option altogether. Be thankful for what you got, *******.Last edited by MomasBoyOnline; 03-29-2013 at 05:02 PM.
