In other news, I'm back from the range trip. I was hoping to get a second smoke/clear 30 round Lancer L5 AWM, but that was basically the only mag they didn't have. I got an OD Troy Battlemag since I don't see those often and it'll match my BCM (so now I have OD Lancer, Troy and PMAG + OD ranger plates on some NHMTG) and I got a 20 round Lancer L5 AWM because I don't have any polymer 20's (since the Gen2 20 round PMAGs aren't quite perfect)
Edit: Crappy pic is crappy. I picked up a couple boxes of Fiocchi 77gr sierra match king stuff to try out
They had AR's. On the shelf. There was a PSA M4 for $799

It's not a stripped upper it comes with a 1/7 barrel. Just no BCG/Charging handle. Got the 20" since I already have a 16" BCM for my other rifle. Planning on going high tier on this build. Negging people is fine. Posting with the intent of bringing other people to neg somebody is against the rules. In chevy72blue's case, unfortunately, it was a pretty clear cut case of a neg train. Now, I don't personally think neg trains should be against the rules, and I'm not totally sure why they are...but they are. The MFC had been pushing the envelope HARD on that rule with the "air strike" type of posts and comments the past day or two.
Note I didn't partake in any of that and, too little too late, reminded people about the rule for neg trains earlier. I've seen this before, and I'm sure I'll see it again...the end result never changes.
Neg trains and questioning a mod's decision are really, really quick tickets to band camp. (srs)
