I don't get why people are against the G.E.

brb not standing for hours trying to sell things
brb being able to sell junk
brb not typing/spamming like a fawking madman what you're selling
brb direct/efficent service
brb not getting scammed (albeit if you do get scammed it's your own fault)
brb not having to world hop to sell things
brb not having to post on forum to sell things
brb not wasting time trying to sell things
brb one location to trade rather than a spread out location which is spammed with auto typers

What is your reasoning? I understand there is the feel of "real" trading with a person and the economic implication that the G.E. possesses, but the pros FAR outweigh the cons.

I think Briisk made the biggest point. Player interaction has drastically decreased ever since GE. If you log on, people don't talk to you or are nearly as friendly anymore. Yes, GE is much more convenient - just like everything else that's in the game. The game is so much easier now than it was back then and half the fun (if not more) is in the challenge. The "330k pray xp/hr good?" convo sums that up perfectly.

you you raise an item by 50% even though it wasn't worth that and dump and make millions

And the g.e was jagex price for items, not players.

Money supply is the only thing that messes prices up.. aka gold buying/selling and bots. the economy is generally stable in the long run and the players ruin it themselves by cheating

I do and I don't, I was a level 99 combat skiller with 8 99s (which in 2007 was better than most). But I'm really looking forward to everyone starting on a "level" playing field

Just tried it and you can't. You can only click on the vote yes now button because you're logged out. Once you login it tells you your vote was already registered. Seriously this is going to be ****ing awesome. I watched vids and pics and it brought so much nostalgia it hurt lol
