I didn't mean the Herbalife was eating better. I meant the fact that there are people who get on the shakes and start eating grilled chicken and other healthy foods of the nature and in turn they lose weight from eating the better foods but think it's the shake so they continue to buy and drink them. Where can I read about the shakes being junk food? I've tried searching for it but nothing comes up. Thanks

First step: learn the basics about nutrition by reading the stickies at the top of the nutrition forum.

I'm not sure what I'm supposed to learn from the stickies but thanks for the help. I'll keep looking elsewhere. I couldn't get the link to work either.

Thanks for replies. I hope the link with ingredients works when I get on my computer. I still don't get the whole processed food situation.

Your not still intending to use that muck are you?
If you value your physique, you'll learn to construct a proper diet using wholefoods and adequate macronutrients and naturally occurring micronutrients and phytonutrients
It should also be a lot tastier and more satisfying that liquid gunk

Silicon dioxide must be great for bulks. Cyanide too.

There's no way those things are in this shake mix.

We can't educate you in nutrition in a single post. You need to do some reading. Start with the sticky threads. Also look up phytochemicals on Wikipedia and you'll see that there is no substitute for natural food - the science is not wel understood, suffice to say that trying to replace what grows in the ground with something made in the lab is not a smart idea.

Strong unaware here. You guys realize that a shitload of scientific journals have found that Herbalife sells hepatoxins (they are currently being sued out the ******* and are under government investigation)

Yeah man, I mean I'm not a complete idiot when it comes to eating healthy. Most people on here obviously know a lot about what is proper to eat so you look at someone who doesn't know Herbalife is a horrible idea like they are dumb but I didn't have a clue all of the junk (which I still don't have a clue what is in it) was in it. I know quite a bit about eating right but I have no clue about macro, micro, and phytonutrients. I suppose I will head to the sticky threads.

Calm down chief. I didn't ask anyone to write a book. I asked people to explain to me why the product was bad. It's not that big of a deal. I already explained in previous posts that I wasn't educated deep enough to be able to look at every ingredient and say well damn I know I shouldn't be ingesting that. I thought the point of a message board was to help other people out? Carry on.
