The "Nation" of America was founded by English who came over to a landmass that indians happened to inhabit. Indians dont believe in personal property rights anyway so who the hell are they to complain? There was no "country" to emigrate to so the colonists were not "illegal"(because there weren't any laws)...

native american wise quote of peace
"You have noticed that everything as Indian does is in a circle, and that is because the Power of the World always works in circles, and everything tries to be round..... The Sky is round, and I have heard that the earth is round like a ball, and so are all the stars. The wind, in its greatest power, whirls. Birds make their nest in circles, for theirs is the same religion as ours....
Even the seasons form a great circle in their changing, and always come back again to where they were. The life of a man is a circle from childhood to childhood, and so it is in everything where power moves." - Black Elk Oglala Sioux Holy Man

He is incorrect. The original Europeans who came over to the Americas did not violate any laws, there were no laws to violate. It may sound like semantics, but it nullifies his point. In those days, the ownership of land was based solely on the power to take and hold land either from nature or from other peoples. Native American tribes fought amongst each other, and took each others' land too, the Europeans just did it on a far grander scale due to their technological advantage.

So, following the Natives line of thinking, we shouldn't have any immigration laws whatsoever. In pretty much no place on earth is the poplulation now there the indigenous population. People migrate, wars happen, nations were built and destroyed, laws were enacted, governments put in place, and a structure to the world formed. Is that structure good or bad? I tend to think it's good but you can disagree with me. Either way, that structure in the US has immigration laws, as does EVERY OTHER COUNTRY, and to every non US miscer bitching about US laws, look at your own nations, chances are they are MUCH MORE STRICT. Either way, if Mexicans want to be here they can do it through taking the land by force, or by legal means, their choice.
Lastly, I wonder how many Natives would be a fan of illegal immigrants all being granted amnesty if they knew how much it would reduce in their own benefit checks?

I'm not illegal. I was born in the US, and I've been here all my life. I didn't take anyone's land either. Some other white guys did that way before I was born.
It was a tragedy, but no one alive today is responsible for things their ancestors did. No hate, of course. My new girlfriend is from the Pomo tribe. She's the first Native American girl I've dated.
