finally got a chance to get back to this. Playing my templar focusing on magic/totems. Currently at lvl 7. Going to grab a few more lvls and then start working on my marauder. I did a blood magic marauder build as my last build and he was crazy strong. Tanked the act 2 boss without breaking a sweat while spamming heavy strike.
Edit:
Add me to your friends list. I need some low level poverty XP.

"So there I am sitting in the waiting area of the hair salon with my niece and Keanu Reeves walks in. I was nervous as ****, but too scared to say anything to him. Then my niece started crying, and I’m trying to quiet her down because I don't want to bother him. Pretty soon he walks over and asks what's wrong. I replied that she was probably hungry. He put down his magazine, picked up my niece, and lifted up his shirt, and breastfed her right there in the salon. Chill guy, really nice about it."

If you guys are not doing this yet, its a big help.
I pop a TP everytime I enter a boss chamber. This is so if I die, I can easily TP back to the same location and avoid running and avoid respawns. Or if its a hard fight, I can TP back to town in the middle of the fight so I can refill my flasks. Then TP back and pop another 1 for safety.
I also do this in hard maps in Act 2 when I was in Cruel and Ruthless in Closed Beta.Steam - jinda28

i swear acquiring currency/scrolls of wisdom is hard as fuark when you're identifying crap and selling it back. that's my only beef with this game...otherwise its all good
In as well, even though i don't know what it means. But i assume it's a good thing"So there I am sitting in the waiting area of the hair salon with my niece and Keanu Reeves walks in. Getting real unsatisfied with my damage as a Templar (currently in the Prisoner's Gate). It seems like all the damage dealers I see are Witches and Duelists/Shadows.

Yup if you help Al w/e you get HP, Oak you get mana, the guy with the K you get +8% all resists. Keep in mind you can repeat for each difficulty so a lot of people recommend going for the resists thats +24% all resists which is huge vs some bosses and allows you to free up 3-4 nodes you'd normally take for resists if you wanted to max em.
If you kill all 3 you get a passive point. Not worth the trade off imo.
Anyone have life on hit red support gem? I need one pretty badly. Please PM.

Bandits: the rewards they offer you are better than what you can get from 1 puny stat point. Oak's ~40 life is the correct choice, always, if you have any life.
The later difficulties have been changed to IAS/ICS/Damage and the third to +1 max charge of your choice. Those are an actual choice that varies for build by build.
Me Stuff: Got to the third floor of the temple, and the damn thing crashed to log in. (Which it is prone to doing when it dumps me into a town after death, as well.) Not a fan of act 3's soul crushing load times and crashosity; hope it gets better. I'd wait a couple weeks normally, but you know how it is; OCD.
They're well placed for the elemental attacks.

Yeah.
Kraityn: Located in Broken Bridge (entrance located in Old Fields → Crossroads)
Reward for siding with him is
NORMAL: permanent increase of +8 to all elemental resistances (elemental resistance does not include chaos).
CRUEL: permanent increase of +4% Attack Speed.
MERCILESS: permanent +1 Maximum Frenzy Charge.
Alira: Located in The Western Forest (entrance located in River Crossings → Dark Forest).
Reward for siding with her is
NORMAL: permanent increase of 40 Mana.
CRUEL: permanent increase of +4% Cast Speed.
MERCILESS: permanent +1 Maximum Power Charge.
Oak: Located in Pools and Streams (entrance located in River Crossings → Vaal Ruins Level 1. Note that access to Vaal Ruins require completion of The Weaver's Needle and Delving into Sin side quests).
Reward for siding with him is
NORMAL: permanent increase of 40 Life.
CRUEL: permanent increase of 12% to Physical Damage.
MERCILESS: permanent +1 Maximum Endurance Charge.
Kill All Three: If you choose to kill all the bandit leaders, turn-in the 3 Amulets to Eramir in the Forest Encampment who will join them and reward you with 1 free passive point.
Templar builds that do the most damage are Lightning Strike builds, or Totem builds
For now just text.
I usually go resists on normal, or life depending on the character. after that just passive passive in the next two difficulties.
I just got to Act 3 on Cruel mode. oh lawd.I slow down so I can gather the power,
'cus you can't smell the roses at 90 miles per hour
