I know that feel when you increase weight/reps on Squats but they feel easier every time haha! Very strong Bench PR as well, good work up in here!

ridiculous, with the inzer belt you are going to smoke me out big time. I guess I do a lot more volume which is ultimately going to hinder my ability to progress at the same speed.
Those romanians definitely look more stiff leg, good form non the less, as long as you feel that stretch on the hammies, good stuff."Do not subordinate fundamental principles to minor details."

thanks dude!
there is a slight knee bend thats probably hard to see because of the angle/sleeve so i called it a romanian. maybe closer to a stiff legged anyway.
im currently bulking, just pretty slowly.
with my inzer by my side i hope to do great things :3
hahahahaha.
but yeah, the squatting was very easy. waiting until it gets hard (no homo)
your volume would be a factor but shouldnt interfere too much. once you get fully comfortable with squatting you will shoot up im sure, probably leaving me behind.
certainly felt a stretch in the hammies and felt the erectors big time. there is a slight knee bend so i call it romanian haha"It is what you do with the knowledge that dictates who you are" - Xuaxace

Strong bench son, you'll be closing in on 3 plates in no time. Mad jelly of that squat and OHP too like always, just never seem to slow down!

Guillotine Press

82.5kg(182lbs) x 8PR
Hammer Curls
3 x 25kg(55lbs) x 10
as you could see, today was a great day!
my new inzer belt arrived today and it is ****ing amazing. im not sure if it was the excitement of it or what that lead to today, but I wanna thank Xuaxace one more time for everything.
front squat was too easy, not an issue there. im happy with my depth there finally
pressing got me by surprised.. i expected the elbow to me more of a pain than it ended up being. i wasn't as psyched as usual going into it because of that, then when the first rep went up without pain it got me by surprise.
admittedly on the last rep i got under it at the end of the lift, but it had cleared my head a pretty fair ways before i got under it so i still count it.
i did it instinctively i think.
deadlift well.. after struggling the past few weeks with the weight, i was amped as fuk and it came up easy all 3 reps.
so happy with today, and i love the new belt.

yeah didnt think about that when wearing the black shirt but oh well, it was still there doing it's thing.
thanks man, was surprised. if i came in more prepared i mightve had 5 in me.. the first rep i didnt think would go that well.
neither of us has really maxed out on the front squats really, we would be very close i think!"It is what you do with the knowledge that dictates who you are" - Xuaxace

The main reason for closer stance on DL is to lessen the stroke length from having a closer grip. Whatever works best for you Adam, but either way that pull is really strong.
That press PR is impressive too, big shoulder burn?I'm aware I'm a wolf

thank you man <3
that sucks man, but there are priorities like the books.
thanks mate, like i said i will try a slightly narrower stance to see how it feels but i feel better with what im doing now than i what i did before.
the wendler style press is much harder on the anterior delts.. definitely felt it there a lot!"It is what you do with the knowledge that dictates who you are" - Xuaxace

In again. Not sure if you remember me, but I dropped 5/3/1 after a couple months. I feel a could get a lot more strength in a faster period before I move forward to slow progression.
Anyways, great job on the lifts so far!! Looking strong as hell.
What kind of camera do you use to record? And how do you place it? (or do you conveniently have bars to place it?)
I'm currently sort of using Wendler's BB template but am keeping the compounds 5x5 or 5x3 with progressive overload depending how I feel.315b/405s/500d @ 168 bw (July-August 2013)

hey dude, i remember you welcome back.
you can definitely gain strength faster with other programs, but i still feel 5/3/1 is overlooked as it can be altered/rate of progression increased if you're not advanced yet. i ran it that way.
but yeah, you will still gain faster on other programs depending on how advanced you are.
hell, at the moment im using madcow's for my lower body lifts.
i either use my phone or my ipad to film, just resting the back of it on some other piece of equipment.
so you're using 5/3/1 frequency but with a 5x3 set/reps?
if it's working for you keep at it, never really looked into that kind of thing to be honest"It is what you do with the knowledge that dictates who you are" - Xuaxace

Thanks! I'm nearly completely recovered from my back injury and my DLs have just been shooting up like crazy. I also plan on continuing 5/3/1 later.
Yeah. More like, I'm using 5/3/1's BB accessory work, changed the compound movements in the beginning to 5x5 or 5x3, and increased frequency.
Used to be: Upper, Lower, Rest, Upper, Lower, Weekends off
Now it's: Upper, Lower, Rest, Repeat (including weekends)
Frick. My local gym sucks when it comes to recording. It's hard to find places to put my phone lol.315b/405s/500d @ 168 bw (July-August 2013)
