OMG LOL That /\/\ cracked me up!!
Today
MADCOW Week 10 Deadlift Day
Squat - 75x5, 100x5, 125x5, 125x5
OHP - Barx5, 60x5, 75x5, 83x5
Deadlifts - 135x5, 170x5, 207x5, 245x4 (failed to lift the fifth rep more than an inch off the floor), 245x1
No accessory work today. I quit and went to pick up my kiddo. I should do it. It's ab work, I need to do ab rollouts 10x4
The deadlifts were a failure. Felt very very heavy. I am going to try the same weight again next week.
Very impressed with your OHP's, I imagine you are doing these standing up? I've started doing a little.. nothing serious, Bradford Presses since I have this throw the bar over the head thing going on when I do my pissy squats.
I read that SHERLOCK Season 3 has been delayed until 2014 because Benedict Cumberbatch & Martin Freeman are too awesome - busy schedules Hopefully by end of this year if they get a move on!.

Geek! Great workout - I love Eric's motivational math. It really is astounding when you calculate the end volume. I love the attitude you have about a 1 rep fail too - kind of "meh - just try it again next week" - atta girl!
Happy Thursday!!!Please join me on my journey to find balance:

Hiya G
See your BMF arrived - aweseome - good madcow session up there ^^
I'm assuming the BMF data is viewable on the PC - in which case in general a screenshot will work - choose a good resolution, save as a Jpg then upload some place like photobucket. simply copy & paste the handy IMG code the site provides."Ego kills spirit. Find confidence in your own progress not in comparison to others." - me waking up 11/21/15

well... its kind of hard to believe im actually burning 3k a day. today so far is 2331 with 6812 steps. i dont feel like im moving that much? im mostly just puttering around the house playing with the kids or cleaning or making food for the kids and stuff. i did the elliptical, too.
also on the elliptical my heart rate is in the 170's but it says im only doing moderate work? im not DYING, but it feels harder than moderate, KWIM?
but its kinda like playing a video game. fun to check and see if youve won achievements or fulfilled the necessary steps or calories for the day. is that how it is for you? what does it say you burn?

01-20-2013, 04:18 PM #1342
I have been hitting between 2300 - 2600. I have been trying to keep the flu at bay and have been sleeping a lot the past few days and have only hit ~1800 calories thanks to sleeping a lot.
It is a lot of fun! It's like, "Doh! Didn't get very high. So how about I clean the kitchen rather than sit and watch TV for hours on end." Come to think about it, I have watched a lot less TV since the first week of having the BMF.~TEAM AMAZON~ Sisterhood of Iron

todays meals
egg mcmuffin for breakfast (shopping day, no eggs, no milk, no ham no nuttin!)
coffee with ff half n half
ham veggie and barley soup - homemade. leftover veggies from last week (carrot, parsnips, green beans, corn, onion)+ ham and barley and broth i made out of turkey bones this christmas and froze). good soup! for lunch this week. so excited about saving money like this. thanks, swoosh and 80's!
southbeach meal bar
beef stir fry with carrots, bell peppers, sugar snap peas, broccoli, green onion and marinated sirloin trimmed of all visible fat
snacks
big bowl of reduced sugar frosted flakes with whole milk (it's good!)
gluten free organic whole grain crackers with 3 ox cheddar (yes im a total pig)
this is pretty much how i eat every day. sometimes gluten free bread these days with almond butter and raw honey. if so, no crackers. sometimes salads instead of cooked veggies)
it's going to be interesting comparing my intake on MFP with kcal burned per BM.
i want to lose weight, but im bad about getting under 2200kcal intake.Last edited by geek23ka; 01-20-2013 at 08:08 PM.

Nice job with the cals burned, you are a busy woman! Nice sleep as well, I only get close to that on weekends, and only if I have nowhere I need to be in the morning (kinda rare anymore lol.) It is amazing how much you burn doing anything where you're on your feet walking around. I'm worried if I ever manage to take a week where I don't have to go in to work (it's been yrs but maybe someday lol) I'm gonna either have to run 10miles a day or eat 2kcals a day.
Lulz my cupboards, garage, and freezer have never been more organized, running out of stuff to do to hit goals on Sundays.Current PRs:
Bench Press: 200x1
Deads: 315x1
Back Squats: 275x1

Sleep is good. It is my friend. I miss it when it's not around. lots!
I can't wait to do some serious organizing. Baby jail is so worth it just for that.
today! the never-thought-i'd-make-it-this-far-in-this-program workout
Week 11 MADCOWVolume Day
Squat 75x5, 100x5, 130x5, 155x5, 185x5 huffed and puffed and knee caved once, too, but i did it!
Bench Press barx5, 65x5, 80x5, 108x3 (failed. supposed to be x5), 108x3 (just to do it)
Bent Over Row barx5, 65x5, 85x5, 100x5, 110x5 (scheduled to do 113, but chicken out. felt wiped out)
Good Mornings- 110x8, 110x8 (again lowered weight bc i felt wiped. it's accessory, so it doesnt matter as much)
Ab Rollouts- 10x4 (wanted to give in and not do as much, but forced myself. My abs are super weak.)
Thoughts
Happy, even though I failed bench. Again. I don't know if I am ready to reset or not. I kinda want to. I might, just because I am restricting calories again as well as doing cardio (hopefully daily cardio). Maybe I should. What do you guys think?
My stoopid bodymedia thing hardly recognized any of my workout. wtf???According to it, I only produced seven minutes of moderate intensity with that workout. NO WAY. I was sweating before I was done. Just no way.
Is this thing not much more than a ****meter? HALP BMFL users!

Seeeeee??? That's it! It took me three days to clean after the new year. Then it took me 3 hours last weekend. Today it only took me 30 minutes, so now I have resorted to going through drawers, organizing/throwing out papers, etc. Honey's pretty happy. All he has to do is cook (which he loves) and the kitchen is cleaned up before he can even sit down for the evening.
I am so proud of you, Geek!!!!! Week 11! Way to go!
Your second 108 x 3 bench press made me .
Dunno what to tell you about the BMF. Mine is similar. The way I view it is if I were to total the minutes that I am ACTUALLY lifting, it would only be between 5 - 10 minutes. The other time is loading/unloading weights, being distracted by Raising Hope on TV, etc. P? Lori? Auntie Ham? Any insight?Last edited by Redfizz; 01-21-2013 at 04:51 PM.
