Losing Fat competition?????

Is there any going on? I need a pick me up to start losing weight again.

Lost 50lbs once and gained back 40 lol. I was eating like mad man trying to gain muscle and then stopped lifting weights due to injury and made that into fat.

I want something I can win something at and something over 3 months long.

BUT, you shouldn't work out for a competition... if you do it for that, your going to fail.

You need to work out BECAUSE YOU WANT TO CHANGE THE WAY YOU LOOK AND LIVE!

You need to want to make the change for yourself.

Start reading motivational quotes, videos, speeches, whatever it takes. A competition shouldn't be one of them. Cause after it ends and you loose than what? or you win then what? you stop?

... this is why you do it for you, look yourself in the mirror and go, i'll see you in 6 months in this same mirror 50lbs less weight.. and go out and do it!!!!!

There's nothing wrong with using transformation contests for motivation. Whatver gets you through.

I really think I need more then 12 weeks to get down to my goal so I want to lose a little weight before hand.

Never said there was. I said what happens when the contents are over and there are no more contests? you just wait for a new one? I think it's a good idea to find something to get you motivated but I think you need to have self motivation as well.

Im not too worried about staying motivated afterwards. My problem was last time I wanted to lose weight (got down to 170) and then I needed to bulk for a strongman competition.) However I have a medical issue that didn't allow me to train, I got a little depressed and gained back fat.

I played sports all my life, Im in a madden league and racing league on my xbox, its hard for me to just sit down and play a game. My wife and I are super competitive at even card games.

I am naturally a competitive person, I have to have competition. After this contest my goal would be to bulk up enough to do strongman again.

Oh, and if you search around hard enough, there is ALWAYS some sort of physique transformation contest going on. Always; all the time.
