Log Intro
We all know that feeling once pct is over and your simply fiending for the next cycle. If pct was done correctly, than all levels should be pretty much back to normal. Yet still feels like something is missing etc. The purpose of this log is to assess Activate's usefullness during this time, acting as a bridging compound between cycles.
http://www.designersupps.com/produc...ps/activate.pdf
The last cycle was relatively mild, just enough to provide a proper boost during a recomposition phase. Was not looking for huge gains or the like, so this would explain the low dose. It was 3 weeks in duration, at only 10mg every other day. Pct consisted of Nolvadex and RXT plus all supporting supplements. The next cycle to come will be a true bulking cycle, and will look similar to what many of you are used to.
The Activate will be taken in the standard dosage, that is 5 pills, 4 times daily. At this point, these servings will fall on breakfast, lunch, dinner and pwo.
For the first week, the posts will include routine and diet. But due to the fact they will remain constant, reiterating those posts would be superfluous. I already know some will question certain aspects of this, but there is a reason behind everything so feel free to ask if curious.
The log will be updated at the end of each day, so I apologize ahead of time of things seem to switch between present and past tense. Will try to keep consistant.
Main goals will be strength maintenace, bf control, while still trying to slowly and cleanly gain. This is by no means a bulk, and just slightly over maintenance to achieve this.
Things to be included will be incremental changes in weight, bf, reps and weight on any given lift. Also bodily changes whether visually or internally (feelings) as well as any thoughts relevant to the current trial. Thanks to Rob who helped make this happen, hopefully the info that will be contained will be found useful.

Random/not so random thoughts:
Noticed increased sweating during workout, despite the fact was wearing a hat. Also noticed a feeling of being warmer throughout the day. First day, felt no other real effects. However, after taste burps of Activate remind me strangely of old school trib aftertaste. (yea i bought into the trib bs when i was younger, damn being naive.)

Some references indicate that inhibiting SHBG boosts thyroid ouput, which may explain the earlier signs of warmth.
The rise isn't significant enough to cause muscle loss or prevent growth. In fact, it is likely part of activate's anabolic properties itself as thyroid hormone control protein synthesis rates. Plus, it lets you eat a few more calories than usual, or indulge in a chat meal, without the potential fat accumulation.www.GetDS.com

Mini ab workout (full abs are on off days)
All at 3 x 15.
Leg raises, decline crunches, hyperextentions.
Random/no so random thoughts:
This one is brutal by the time lounges come around. On cycle not as bad (though routine does change usually) hopefully once activate kicks in this will be a more enjoyable lift. I did find myself strangely aroused in abnormal situations today.... coincidence or side?Regardless, interesting. On a tangent, no matter how much they tell you they do, broads never truly want the whole truth. This one that claimed to be understanding and accepting blah blah blah, but when I was brutally honest about some of my past, depraved sexual experiences, she was almost freaked. A feeling of inadequacy swept over her, etc. Lesson learned. They want the truth, yes, just not all of it, or at least skewed in a manner that is appeasing to them. Also definitely need to invest in a new mp3 player, stock gym music is the ultimate in de-motivation.

Day 3
6:45am wake
7:00 Meal 1, Egg white omlette (plus one yolk)shot of w/ udos oil, plus serving of oats, 5 caps of Activate
10:00 Meal 2, lean mass protein blend plus serving of almonds and sliced apple
1:00 Meal 3, Heap (overloaded, was damn starving) of chopped chicken, brown rice, side of broccoli and spinach, 5 caps of Activate
4:00 Meal 4, lean mass protein blend plus serving of almonds and peeled orange
7:00 Meal 5, Turkey breast, wheat pasta, egg white omlette (plus one yolk) and asparagus, 5 caps of Activate
8:30 Lift
10:00 pwo shake, 5 caps Activate
12:30 Indulgence meal, glass of milk and 1/2 salmon steak.
Wanted to note before listing routine, that due to my schedule my sleep habits are not as full as they should be. With that being said, sometimes I hit sticking points through the day (refuse caffeine unless absolutely neccessary). I am noticing, today at least for sure, more energy than usual. Going into the gym, was actually energetic and pumped. This happens early in the week, but as the lack of sleep catches up, tend to start to drag. That being said, in the following routine, incremental weight increases will be noted by (+Xlbs), this is the amount over the previous work out of the same routine.
Biceps and Triceps
Standing barbell curls
1 x 20 (+10lbs), 1 x 14 (+10lbs), 2 x 8 (+10lbs each). Drop set 1 x 14
Decline Skull Crushers
1 x 20, 1 x 14 (+5lbs), 1 x 8 (+5lbs). Instead of normal drop sets, last 2 sets flip up to close grip bench at the conclusion of the set. 1 x 8, 20 close grip press (+5lbs). 1 x 14, 50 close grip press.
Incline Bench DB Curls
1 x 14, 3 x 9 (2 of these three were +5lbs). Drop set of 1 x14.
Seated overhead tricep press w/ ez bar
1 x 14, 3 x 9(2 of these 3 were +5lbs). Drop set of 1 x 14.
Tri sets (Back and delts) - 1 x 14, 2 x 9 for each lift.
Wide grip pull downs, Seated DB raises, and stiff arm pulldowns.
(last 2 sets of wide grib were +12lbs)
Random/Not so random thoughts:
All in all, work out felt great. This energy, even w/ the usual lack of sleep, would have to be contributed to the activate, as diet and schedule are constant. Not sure if this is normal, or just a pleasant side, but either way great. Did notice today a lack of that warming sensation. Does this normally subside due to a tolerance build up? Am also noticing a little stiffness/soreness in the elbows. Nothing alarming, but enough to mention. Have been craving the steak pizza from dominoes that you can add extra steak to since Friday when i first saw the ad. Saw it during almost every break in football, both college and pro. One thing I am noticing, though not soley due to the activate, since it was the same way a few days leading up to it, is extreme hunger pains. feelings of almost a hypoglecimic nature. As one can tell my normal eating schedule is paced at about every 3 hours. I am barely making it to the 1.5 hour mark before this is kicking in. Sometimes i will finish my meal and that pizza craving will kick in. Just annoying, wish I was one of the 250+ guys that can down those kinds of meals as snacks. But then again, i would have eaters remorse the minute my bf left single digits.Last edited by PSKlifter; 09-15-2005 at 02:00 AM.

If you're not dieting and you want a steak, have one.
Dosing is fine. I think DrD once told me he expected the half life of divanil to be in the 8hr range. With free test half life around the 1.5hr mark, so long as you take at least two doses a day, you should be good. Of course ideally, 4 separate servings is "better".www.GetDS.com
