Hey everyone. As of right now I only do weight training, but I was thinking of adding in some kind of cardio workout on a couple of my off days from the weights. I want to use HIIT with some kind of higher resistance exercise.
I basically got it down to 3 choices. Hill sprints with a weighted vest, sprints with a weighted sled, or sled dragging with a weighted sled.
First, which of the 3 would guys recommend?
Second, I see most people talking about sled dragging as opposed to sled sprints. What's the main pros and cons between dragging vs sprinting with a sled?
Thanks for any help.

Do not run with the sled; that would defeat the whole purpose which is to provide you with low impact conditioning work that WON'T destroy recovery or cause muscle-loss. High impact work is notorious for causing muscle loss.

I find sled dragging and hill sprints to be very effective for athletic purposes but not so much for bodybuilding ... I do them myself for rugby/football training. Hill sprints without a weighted vest would probably be better cardio for bodybuilding ... you'll be able to keep going longer for more fat loss. You can't run hills with a weighted vest for 30+ minutes if your putting enough effort in.

Sled dragging did little for me muscle-wise; nor did it make me notably leaner. If you're going to drop money on iron cardio equipment, you're better off getting farmer's walk handles or a superyoke. Those added muscle 2 my frame, no doubt. These add a "direct" load to your body (sled dragging can be considered somewhat mechanical), and will result in more "second-hand hypertrophy," as I call it.
