Is This A Good Way Of Training?

I have 2 routines and I stay on each 1 for 8 weeks. That's 16 weeks altogether. Is the following a good idea to stop myself from hitting a plateau:

I do 16 weeks worth of 6 reps on everything and then I take a 1 week break. I then do another 16 weeks worth of 10 reps on everything and take another 1 week break. Then I start over again with 6 reps.

I think it would be better to change your reps weekly instead of every 16weeks.

Actually I'm only a beginner, but I remember reading an article that celtic fan posted. I think it was called strength2. It showed how undulating periodization gave better gains than linear periodization.

I have been using daily undulating periodization and I have had great gains for my first 2 months (I've gained 15-20lbs).

    EDIT: I found the article

I actually had a program in high school where we did 3 week long programs. The first 3 weeks were 10 reps. The next 3 were 6 reps, and the last 3 weeks were 3 reps. It was for football and it worked for me making me bigger and a lot stronger. I good mix for strength and size. No weeks off tho till after its all over.
