No. Australia has a large Asian population whatever racism they experience they give it back just as good. The myth that Australia is a heavily racist country is so over blown it's ridiculous. You'll get the occasional bogan having a crack at an indian cab driver but that's about it.

Depends how sensitive you are. If you're triggered easily, you're probably going to have a bad time. Aussies in general give each other a hard time about anything and everything. You'll probably encounter some racist remarks but 99% of it will be in jest and the same people will be teasing their white mates just as hard or harder and will encourage you to join in and have fun.
At least you're not a ranga. Redheads are the lowest rung and get teased worse than anyone else.
