    im having problems with keto... help please!

    ive been on keto for a total of 6 days and was forced by my body to carb load today. i know i probably sound pretty low on the self discipline right now, but i was showing syptoms of ketoacidosis. im not diabetic, i have no problems training with no extra carbs, but i got to today and all i could think about was carbs, i felt really sick, couldnt face any protein, and had pretty much the entire list of ketoacidosis symptoms. i dont tend to do ill by halves and im kinda worried and was wondering if anyone on heres had similar? the good news was i lost 4 1/2lbs though!

    Type 1 diabetic? Long-time Alcoholic? If not, it's EXTREMELY unlikely. Ketosis does not lead to ketoacidosis. If you actually thought you had ketoacidosis, you need to go to the hospital.

    What you were "showing symptoms of", was your body adapting to ketones. Some people call it "induction flu".

    Read up on ketosis.
