Then they coast and teach the same class every year until retirement

This is actually true as f*ck. Academia is just one giant circle jerk scamming students out of money. LMAO at professors proof reading other friends professor to accept their publication then turning around and vice versa with their papers.

If you don't know academic papers are just a bunch of quid pro quo I got some bad news that's how it's been working for centuries.



The best part is how they rack up a bunch of travel expenses going to conferences to present to each other while the rest of the public is oblivious to whatever revelations they discuss nor does the public give a flying f*ck.
