I’ve been doing rows for a decade, up to 275lbs and never hurt my back
Your form is probably off. You’re supposed to keep the bar close to your body, not let it drift too far away from you*Deadlifts pants after taking a chit crew*

A couple days ago I did still legged deadlines and went too heavy with bad form. I felt fine though, maybe the damage was already done and now this just made me finally feel it. Not sure if it works like that though
Challenge accepted. I'll just use the pendy squat, leg ext and seated ham curl with high volume and be carefulLast edited by SeymourGains; 08-15-2022 at 03:00 AM.

Tightness is your body's way of saying - leave this alone and don't move it much while I'm fixing it. Let it rest and focus on gentle movement to maintain ROM and you can use heat and/or massage to increase blood flow to encourage faster repair. Give it 48 hours and you will probably be fine unless you're having acute pain while moving like a stab in your back. Then you have a more serious problem.

Ice for 20m heat for 20m with a heating pad and wet towel, walk, go to the chiro, 3 naproxen at bed and 3 in the morning. Been dealing with back issues for 13 years these things will help.

Taking at least a day off and recovering will help in the long run over exacerbating your current state, let alone any potential injuries you might have. If you can see a reliable chiropractor, then that might be worth a go.
Hindsight's a motherfukker and all, but there are always hex bars. Neutral grip and it takes getting used to, but I had to switch over from standard barbells because of a point in my back from a missed spinal tap ages ago.I will stand firm, I refuse to kneel - The fury in me is divine
My dark grave awaits, my fate is revealed - But I'm not afraid to die
