Correct, and for those want carbs, add in your preference type and dosing for the type and duration if your training. There is too much variability here in needs, which is why we never included carbs in IntrAbolic.
This article I wrote on intra-workout supplementation nails down the carb aspect of intraWO carbs and much more regarding intra-workout diet/supplementation timing.

All comes down to how you tolerate the carb source. If you can handle dextrose, maltodextrin, etc, then use that. If not, try a more expensive carb like Karbolyn, HBCD, or Carb10.
Between Karbolyn and Gatorade powder, not difference at all in my experience.
On top of that, actually dropped my intra carb source and added in rice krispy treats post workout with a shake. No drop in performance or anything to speak of.PEScience Representative

Super Carb or Glycofuse are your top choices.
Cutler Total Carb would be the next best option for straight up carbs to add.
I also add 2g or Cit Mal or Cit intra and a BCAA/EAA as well.
Edit: I have never had Intra MD but it is a great option as well, just find I can spend the money better and separates than that all in one.Lead Forum Representative

Give Gaspari's GlycoFuse a look (like others mentioned ...) I believe it's EXACTLY what you are looking for. And trust me when I say this, it may honestly be the best tasting supplement you will ever use. It's so good the whole time your drinking it your thinking to yourself "My word, there is no way this can be good for me". LOL

If your looking to avoid creatine for intra workout carbs then Gaspari GlycoFuse would be a solid one to use
as others have mentioned and it comes in a few flavors but I prefer the unflavored cause it's very versatile
with what ever you want to mix it with.

ive used, for carb sources, gatoraides, koolaids, intramd, glycofuse, super carb, karbolyn, cutler total carb, etc.
dextrose, malto, anything non hbcd weighs heavy in my stomach and causes me discomfort, however due to cost i suggest u try the simple sugars, in candy, powdered sports drinks, etc.
my faves are intra-md, glycofuse, cutlers. however the only one that doesnt give me any digestive issues is intramd. not to bad on the others and i havent tried glycofuse recently, but if i recall i couldnt get a clear answer on how much HBCD were in the later 2 but i havent checked if theres new formulations out. i do add various bcaa/eaa type products most of the time.
great recovery for me however though. im not the type where i can eat something to close to the workout.Used to be fat, now just fat with a lot of muscle.

I have some tri carb drink to use like pre and/or intra WO.
In every scoop there is dextrose, maltodextrin and fructose.
I'd like to drink it like intra WO because hot climate, fatigue and sweating make me down.
But I am cutting, and i read that maltodextrin and fructose are not good to the fat loss process. Is it true? Shouldn't I take this tri carb drink as intraWO during cutting period?

I like a good "base" intra, like Intrabolic, and add carbs as needed. Since diet and training fluctuates, requiring some carbs one day and none the next, unnecessary carbs can weigh you down and/or add empty calories. So normally one tub Intrabolic, one tub dextrose/malto, add carbs as needed. What I'm actually doing now is bringing caramels (individually wrapped) that I got as a gift with me, and eating them as needed during my training.

This is the optimal strategy and us much fun as it is to talk about how superior these pricy carbs are to dextrose/malto/Amylopectin, regarding actual exercise performance, there is no difference, shown over and over in the research. I think if someone prefers one being easier on the stomach, that's fine, i get that, but be sure to get it out of your mind, that these more $$ carb sources are any better than malto or dextrose or amylopectin(WMS)
