Let me explain my position. My post will deal with physical attractiveness, and women's perception of height.
I accept the claim that height can be a significant negative. I refuse to accept the claim that height can be a significant positive.
A male being under 5'9 will cause females to disqualify him. This simply means, there is very little a short man can do to become physically attractive once he is perceived as short. He can compensate in other non-physical ways.
A male that is not registered as short retains the possibility of being attractive. But, height alone will not create attraction. After passing a height threshold, to determine physical attractiveness, a woman will look at a man's face and body. Only if these two traits are satisfactory will a man be regarded as attractive.
There is no significant difference between 5'10 and 6'4. In both of these cases, most of their attractiveness or unattractiveness will come from their face and body.
Furthermore, I don't think any studies have suggested that women consider their ideal height to above 6'0 or 6'1.

I don't think anyone was claiming that it guarantees you will be attractive if you're 6 ft plus. That's just retarded.

Put it like this OP. Your masculinity increases one order of magnitude per every inch. a 6'2" guy is going to be invariably more masculine and alpha than I am, period.

Manlets are a waste byproduct of an evolutionary process that doesn't care about their feelings.

There is an individual in this thread that has claimed 6'2 is significantly superior to 5'10. I think he formed his opinion more on anecdotal experience as opposed to scientific literature. Nevertheless, he is mistaken. If he has experienced life as an unattractive male, it is probably due to his face.

Does OP even lift? You're 5'11 and 145 lbs. I don't think height is your problem.

The bold is the problem. People need to understand that Tall people can also dwarf a short man in non physical aspects as well. It's as if people think that you can only be one and the other. However you can be both. This is the reality my friends, Short people don't have as high of a ceiling as tall people (no pun?)Red Sox 2018 MLB champs

Basically, to women, face is more important than body. And body is 8x more important than height and penis size combined.

I don't disagree. Primarily, however, I was addressing the attractiveness aspect of height. And, I do think that extreme money or extreme status can compensate for short stature. This is not to say that being short is conducive to achieving either of those two positives.

I call bull**** because most of these "attractiveness" studies are done in a vacuum where girls sit in a room in front of a computer and rate body-height or answer penis size questions
they're usually point-and-click studies, which are complete bull****.
Since attractiveness, particaulry sexual attractiveness doesn't operate in a vacuum, Height as well as money + status are more important
The real world is proof enough. When was the last time you've seen 9/10 hot women surrounding male models like Lachowski or O'Pry, both of whom have attractive faces?

height IS important, but i've learned girls can overlook nearly anything when it comes to a guy they like. if they like you, they like you. they may have problems with your height or other things, but it's easy for them to just accept it(kinda).
