I wouldn't say beer snobbery is a fad, its just that hipsters tend to only like beers you've never heard of. As we all know, there are a phuckload of hipsters out there right now.
The older I get, the less time I have to drink cheap ass chit beer. I can afford beer that tastes better and that I enjoy more, so why wouldn't I?"For monkeys to speak of truth is hubris of the highest degree. Where is it writ large that talking-monkeys should be able to model the cosmos? If a sea urchin or a raccoon were to propose to you that it had a viable truth about the universe, the absurdity of that assertion would be self-evident, but in our case we make an exception."

Agree with all 3 things in OP. would add the rampant pseudointellectualism that comes with beer snobbery. Brb people I went to HS with who hardly passed CP classes are suddenly intellectual luminaries when I see them at bars around the holidays and of course can't help but expound upon the superiority of whatever ****gy microbrew they're drinking.
Edit: guess that's more about being a hipster thoughLast edited by PhrygianLydian; 12-29-2013 at 04:08 PM.

What ''big beard'' fad? The majority of teen and young adults look to be filled with estrogen and have never had a single hair grown on their face.
