In old case studies of homosexuals they would frequently report the very strong desire to be near, or rub up against, muscular/built men. Many did not know why and could not control it.

Plus, women have little going for them most of the time, etc. So, another man of accomplishment and physical perfection, turns these guys on.

Of course, there is buried anger at women somewhere in there that started them seeing women as inferior to begin with.

Bodybuilding was something that started in the beginning of the 20th. It was meant to be like a hygiene thing where you take care of your body parts as well as you would your teeth.

So, it's supposed to be about fitness.

However, like with so many things, perfectionistic weirdos must have taken it over, and not most bodybuilders can't scratch their back or chase the dog,, so the point of it was lost.
