    messing up my cut?

Hey guys..so im going for a 45-35-20 or 40-40-20 cut and i keep finding myself going like 55-25-20..my carbs are way higher than my proteins and im getting at least like 100g protein everyday.... how detrimental to my cut is this? that my carbs keep seeming to be so high..i am going to adjust but i feel like for a couple weeks my carb has been higher than intended

what ratio order have listed there, are you on about 40protein 40fats 20carbs like a keto diet? anyway your proteins need to be higher than 100g daily, when cutting it's important to keep protein high to avoid heavy muscle loss, in regards to your carbs it needs to be way lower than 50% of your macros if that's what your ratio means
Goal = Reach 160 lbs on my current bulk. Beginning 8th November 2011 at 136 lbs.

not keto just trying to keep fats low.. i know i need more than 100, but its hard because i cant drink protein shakes anymore..i usually get like 110-130 with chicken and ****..im basically just asking if it were to get like that amount and my carbs were a little bit higher than planned..is that a bad thing?

Some greek yogurts have unreal protein in them (18g).

I have a 45/27.5/27.5 ratio and running 21 miles a week and gym all the time and the fat is flying off.

put it this way, excess carbs whilst cutting is never a good thing, protein should always be higher than carbs on a cut to minimize muscle loss etc

personally I'd totally ditch the ratios. You using rations is why you are not getting near the protein you need. Figure out your total calories first then go from there. For instance at your weight of 181 pounds this is how I'd do it if I were you eating 2,500 calories a day...

    2,500 calories a day
Protein: 1 gram per pound of bodyweight so 180 grams for you which is 720 calories
Fat: .35 to .45 grams per pound of bodyweight so 72 grams which is 650 calories
Carbs: Fill in the rest so you'd have around 280 grams of carbs left

that ratio sh*t is like 1998 type of stuff nobody uses ratios they are meaningless.

This is simply not true at all. You can lose fat and gain muscle at the same time with a diet that is higher in carbs than protein. I know because I have done it.

Carbs are not bad if you do cardio everyday, and believe it or not, you can still build muscle.
