    Is it ok to take ZMA if

    i eat at 9 than take ZMA 30 minute later and at 10 drink my protein with milk?

    Or should i eat everything at 9 and take zma around 9:30-10

    your supposed to take it on an empty stomach so i try to wait an hour after i eat before i take them. also avoid dairy (anything that contains calcium) when you take them

    If you're eating close to bedtime you shouldn't really need a pre-bed shake. Whole food meals with protein and carbs and fats will work just fine instead of a casein shake.

    Not sure when you go to bed... but eating at 9 and taking the ZMA at 10 (if that's when you go to bed) should be fine. ZMA isn't going to do too much anyhow, just let you sleep a little deeper.

    I would avoid taking zma within an hour or two of having any dairy. Calcium decreases absorption of zinc.

    A glass of milk isn't going to be in your stomach longer than an hour.

    You'll be fine, OP.

    Drink your shake at 9, then take your ZMA at 10.

    I agree with the other posters, however, that it's totally unnecessary.
