    Opinions on Cliff bars?

I've bought many boxes of Cliff bars, and I find them to taste great. I like the macro's they provide as well, and their ingredients seem pretty decent.

So I was wondering what everyones thoughts were of Cliff bars? Are they junk? They seem pretty natural, and aren't filled with tons of artificial flavors and whatnot.

I mainly want to use them as a post workout meal, along with a Whey shake. Would that be an appropriate post workout meal, for someone that's wanting to cut (lots) of weight?

Some fruit, a complex carb, and some lean proteins would be a healthier option. Anything that's processed like those bars usually has lots of added "junk", even if it's so-called healthy. Maybe some oatmeal with berries and cottage cheese would be good.

    Luna bars are better.

But FYI they say they are "for women"

IMO theyre great for men too. Same protein content, with about 15g less carbs. Then again theyre smaller too...eh. Whatevs. (Or if you get the Luna Protein bars, which is different from just plain Luna, they have only around 20g carbs)

As for post workout, most people will probably say theyre too high in fiber.

i like cliffs because they are cheap and good amount of calories. But i really like Balance Bar Gold. They have boxes for dirt cheap at wallmart and they are small bars and pretty good to. about 15g protein. 200 calories not sure on carbs etc.

oh also i wanted to throw in that if it comes down to grabbing something like a snickers or a cliff bar, at least go for the cliff bar. but try to save them for occasions when you have a huuuge craving for junk food, not just as an every day thing.

Dude it's a cliff bar. If you like it, eat the thing!
I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do this I keep on doing. (Romans 7:15,17-19)
