You can replace anything. From the shape of the pull up bar on it my guess it very well need to be a custom fabrication job.

No worries, may also be a matter of comparing 20 year old shoes to new ones. They aren't horrible to lift with just a little softer. It's not like lifting with running shoes or anything. 20 years...

Just an FYI: I finally put my 20 year old chucks to rest and ordered a new pair. The new pair seems to have a little more padding in the soles so not nearly as ideal as my old pair.

One of the items I consider a luxury that I won't replace is a stand alone dip station. My IM bench rolls between the base and stands up fine so they don't take up any extra room having both.
