Yeah it's worth it brah. Went from 132 to 220 over 3 years. Perma bulk and it felt fuarking good. Actually just started my cut this week, they suck **** but only last for a few weeks.
Also the same goes for strength aswell, I remember I thought I would be happy when I can squat 315, then 350, now I hit 400 and I am dieing to get to 500.
Squatting and dead lifting will develop your core. You are not going to be able to lift over bodyweight with either of those exercises without some level of abdominal strength.
Honestly its hard to tell if you have "good" genetics unless you really start to get to the top and start competing. The average gym goer really isn't developed enough to judge their 'genetics', nor...
Mine are not bad, broad shoulders but average delts. Very gifted in the lower body natural squatter. I can fit 3 fingers between my elbow to the start of my bicep but idk if that means chit tbh....
