I just ****ing vomited from eating cottage cheese

I used to be that guy that would tell off other people who would whine or complain about eating cottage cheese. I could eat the stuff by the pound just fine. Anway a couple weeks back I bought some after not having any for a long time, and I vomited after eating it. I checked the expiration and it was fine it had a couple weeks to go. Then today I bought some, fresh from another market, and after eating it I vomited again. The taste of it made me do it, I'm not sure what's up with me, but other than muscle milk or caesin powder, are there any other good ideas for a bedtime meal that would be 500 calories

I would get some protein and fat in you. You could go with chicken and almonds, protein shake and peanut butter, protein and fish oils, etc.

first mistake you made was eating cottage cheese on its own! try it with splenda and either some fruit, cinnamon, cocoa, or peanut butter

eggs and almonds are my choice, and for making cottage cheese better i use a teaspoon of sugar free pudding mix, chocolate or vanilla, i still hate the texture of it but its too good for you to not eat.

    I feel for you bro.

    I can't stand that **** either.

I just started eating it again as I can now lift (seperated shoulder = 8 weeks).

I forgot how bad it was. I mix it with NPB, throw in some more nuts and 50 calories worth of those miny morsel chocolate chips (can't eat it without, literally, I'd puke.) But I'm gettin closer back to the point where I can stand it every time I eat it.

Once I get my chocolate protein blend, I'll go back to the chocolate goop, protein powder + CC + NPB = 500 cals.
A calorie is not a calorie.

If it helps try to blend it in a mixer on high speed with some milk or fruits and some ice, and if you still can't drink it, then you'll have to shove a tube down your throat and a funnel at the top and pour it in.

Totally agree. Best two I've found are Horizon and Trader Joe's, both of which happen to be organic FWIW.

It's kinda strange but the type of cottage cheese I buy actually tastes worse when you add stuff to it, anything. It might be the products that they use to set the curds, I dont know, but it is kinda weird.

It doesn't tase all that bad to begin with, so I just stomach it.

Moral here is your body is trying to tell you something, I replaced it with PB at night and oh how I love the stuff.

Geeeeez. Whey prodocts make me vomit.. but I could eat a whole tub of cottage cheese and not have a problem. I also really dislike the taste of eggs. I hardboil them and eat the white to make them edible for me.
