    Max Grams Protein per Meal?

I've been asking this question around the gym and i get various answers: What is the max amount of protein the body can digest per meal? The answer I get is anywhere between 25 grams to 50 grams. My concern is getting the getting the max amount of protein grams in per meal without wasting any protein that will be simply eliminated. Thanks.

from what i know, the body can only absorb about 40 grams of protein MAX per meal. But everyone is different.

If you get too much protein it wont go to waste, it will just take longer time for your body to digest it.

excess protien will be converted to gyclogen , then converted to fat
this is a long process and the body perfers not to do it but it will

the body stores any excess cals and since portien is a form of calorie it will be stored , the advantage to getting excess protien over excess fat is that with fat the body doesnt have to convert it , it just stores it
with portien the body accuatlly uses cals to convert the protien to the diff forms , the body will do what ever requires less of itr frist , then go to the taxing things

this is all basically taken from normal and clinical nutrition , which is the text book for the nutrition class at my college

This question does not make sense because there is not "a magic number".

Find out how many calories you need with regard to your goal. Then, determine ratios you want use for example 50c/30p/20f and spread total caloric / ratio over six meals. It gives you quantity of protein you need to eat at each meal.
For example, 2000 cal with the ratio above.
250g carbs or 42g per meal
150g protein or 25g per meal
45g fat or 7g per meal.

With a higher ratio in protein, you eat more protein at each meal. However, increasing the ratio in protein means you decrease the one of carbs for example.

A good rule of thumb to follow is to divide your total grams of protein a day throughout your meals a day. If you are going to ingest 200g protein throughout 5 meals you would want 40g per meal.
