Unpopular opinion: Third Reich was NOT as powerful as people think

What allowed it to rise and almost overwhelm the mighty Russian Bear was incompetent French and British Politicians.
If it weren't for the Munich agreement in 1938 where they practically gave capable of defending itself and then mighty Czechoslovakia, who then was 4th largest military in Europe, to Hitler, inability to aid Poland, who was attacked from left by Reich, south by Slovakia and 2 weeks later by Stalin from the East, Hitler's Wehrmacht and Schutzstaffel units would not be capable to grow so much in size or strength. Italy was as useless as a fork for eating soup.

The start of the war in 1938 they didn't have much. What is impressive is how far they came in a few short years. The agreements after WW1 left everyone with incompetent forces so they could manage a lot with what little they had. Fact is in the depresson most countries had a skeleton crew and not much military. The US didn't even have 1 tank when the war started.

Anyone who has read about WW2 knows this and it's not an unpopular opinion. In the early years the other countries were just LDARing in front of the Nazis but when they finally faced the real powers of Russia and America they had no chance of winning.

If their allies stayed neutrel they'd have more chance. At least they would have secured the south. I think they would have destroyed the commies and protected Europe. America and UK are protected by sea though. I guess they would have made peace after ussr collapsed or kept on fighting for Africa

But yes the fuhrer turned the economy around in 4 years. Got Germany out of debt, increased innovation and made a formidable force out of the country's defense units. Also installed hbb producing ideologies hnnnnng

He achieved that by taking from elites who use the money to sponsor each other worldwide. During Weimar times they didn't even pay any taxes thanks to corrupt politicians and underpaid their German workers. Also I think he cancelled the ridiculous reperations of Versaille. Economic miracles are possible that way.

Yugoslavia stole old HRE lands which are Germanic. His fight against Greeks were to aid his useless ally.

Not one single allied nation acted out against ussr claims to lands they have no connection

WTF was the point of him if FDR and Churchill were not going to fight him in an epic duel to save the world? And don't get me started on FDR! They just kill him half way through the war. Truman totally did not deserve to win the war, his character arc was not about war winning. And it certainly wasn't about destroying two cities with bull**** deus ex super weapons that came out of no where.

And another thing that pissed me off is that in the last episode of the war we find out that Stalin was a bad guy the entire time! Where was this foreshadowed to us? WTF, absolute character assassination. He was all about freeing the oppressed and bringing about a new system that wasn't shackling the poor and they made him a dictator? That is bull****!
