There was a thread recently about the Arnold Classic that had 13 replies, several of which referenced Dexter's supposedly messed up arm. Yet there were no pictures or video of it, or of anything related to the contest..

all these social media platforms that have taken over feel so impersonal. Good for seeing specific things about the people you want to but any kind of discussion seems so hollow and "drive by". Oh well I guess im just getting old. From a marketing and cashflow standpoint, the platforms seem to be doing a lot for bodybuilding. From a community standpoint it seems to be doing nothing at all.

Love forum discussions! They are much more personal than social media posts, which mostly, when done by athletes, include some sort of sponsor ad. Instagram and FB are so ad ridden these days too, very annoying.

It's because there is no content to talk about. There used to be videos almost every week from MD/Flex/RX, especially during major contests (olympia/arnold) but now there's basically nothing. SOME guys make their own content but most don't. The days of big magazine contracts are gone, most have minimal athletes if any
